Influence of free time activities upon the lifestyle of children living in towns or in villages

In my work I wanted to deal with the idea how pastime activities influence the lifestyle of children living in towns and in villages. I examined if the pastime activities of children living in towns differ from activities of village children. I observed if these activities have a different effect on the children's personality progress. I monitored whether the environment and possibilities of towns a villages have diverse impact on the human behaviour.
Monitoring of selected coagulation parameters in pregnancy.

In the group of 73 patients with recurrent spontaneous abortions, which they had a personal history of at least one thrombophilic disposition, either congenital acquired mutation of factor V Leiden in heterozygous form, or 20210 mutation in the gene of factor II in heterozygous form or mutation in the gene for MTHFR 677T or 1298C in heterozygous or homozygous form, or they had acquired thrombophilic disposition of antiphospholipid syndrome, or hyperhomocysteinemia, we studied the level-progress of blood coagulation parameters during the entire pregnancy. During this period, blood samples were taken from the patients on a regular basis. By some patients the parameters were examined even before pregnancy. Patients were getting nadroparin (Fraxiparine) in the 25th - 43rd week of pregnancy, alternatively enoxaparin (Clexane) who had showed allergic reaction. With the indirect detection method using a chromogenic substrate for the analyzer Sysmex CA-1500 (Sysmex-TOA) we evaluated functional activity of plasminogen, plasminogen activator inhibitor and α2-antiplazmin. With the direct non-competitive ELISA method, we found out a quantitative amount of antigen plasminogen tissue activator, plasminogen activator inhibitor and trombomodulin. Czech Signs for Elementary Calendrical Units

The goal of this thesis is to survey the signs of Czech sign language for basic calendrical units (seasons, months, days). The thesis is based on a set of linguistic data collected by the method of elicitation among deaf informants from six cities in the Czech Republic (Brno, Hradec Králové, Ostrava, Plzeň, Praha and Zlín). The set of linguistic data is described from the point of view of motivation including folk etymology. The topic of sociolinguistic variation is also covered in the thesis, because the data include lexical and phonological variants connected to particular regions or age groups. Role shifting in Czech Sign Language

The bachelor's thesis focuses on the expression of role shifting in Czech sign language. The goal of the thesis is to describe the mechanisms of expressing role shifting in Czech sign language within our survey and comparing the results with findings from abroad. The principles of work are mostly based on foreign literature and they are compared with Czech sign language. A part of the thesis is a DVD of deaf respondents' recordings who use Czech sign language and which illustrate the way of expressing role shifting in Czech sign language.
Frequency analysis of handshapes in selected Czech sign language dictionaries

in English This work focuses primarily on the handshapes and their frequency in the selected Czech sign language dictionaries. The main aim was to analyze the occurence of handshapes in two types of Czech sign language dictionaries (general and terminology) and compare them. A secondary aim was to analyze the handshapes of active and passive hand in these dictionaries and to analyze types of signs. The last aim was to get information about handshapes in foreign sign languages and compare their most frequent handshapes with my analysis results.

Thesis Lifestyle in magazine Květy (1960 - 1968) deals with the lifestyle in the years 1960 - 1968 in Czechoslovakia from the viewpoint magazíne Květy. The work examines how the magazine, presented lifestyle in the reference period and how they influenced the ideas of readers' lifestyles. Due to the great range of lifestyle related work has focused solely on housing, leisure and fashion. In the field of housing, work has concentrated on available housing, household furniture, decorations and articles of daily use. In the fashion most attention was focused on the clothing, hairstyles then in fashion and beauty treatments. Leisure time has been reduced to activities designed for relaxation, entertainment and distraction, prevailed in the area of recreation, sports activities and activities of various interest groups. Lifestyle in the analysis of the text was analyzed using a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods of content analysis. Quantitative analysis is mainly concerned with the development of a range of lifestyle topics. Qualitative analysis provides information about the content of a particular lifestyle topics. Classifier verbs in Czech sign language

This thesis focuses on research of classifier verbs in Czech sign language. The aim of the thesis is to describe different types of classifier verbs in Czech sign language based on language material collected from deaf users of Czech sign language by means of the Verb of motion production. The thesis defines classifier verbs of motion, location, visual and geometric description, and handling and also describes various types of classifier handshapes that form them for a semantic perspective. Interpretation of a fairy tale from Czech to Czech Sign Language

This bachelor thesis deals with the description of the differences in the translation of a fairy tale from Czech into Czech sign language realized by one hearing and one deaf interpreter. After a theoretical introduction focused especially on translation and its types, i.e., interpreting and translation, the thesis describes sign language interpreting and artistic interpreting, the specifics of translation for deaf children and Christiane Nord's model of translation analysis. This model is then applied to the initial text - a fairy tale in the Czech language, and two target texts in the Czech sign language. These two texts are compared, and the differences are described in the conclusion of this thesis.
Norwegian Sign Language - History and Present

The bachelor's thesis focuses on history and current status of Norwegian Sign Language, one of the oldest and largest minority languages in Norway. The aim of the thesis is to give a chronological overview of the main historical events associated with the Norwegian Deaf Community and their language. The thesis deals with the first mentions of Norwegian deaf people and their communication in written sources, the formation of Norwegian Sign Language in the first school for the deaf in the eighteen fifties and the development of dialects in the context of establishment of new schools. The thesis deals also with the repression of Norwegian Sing Language by oralistic tendencies by the end of 19th and most of the 20th century and attempts to create a common Scandinavian Sign Language and a standardized Norwegian Sign Language. Another topic described in this thesis is ta start of research and linguistics of Norwegian Sign Language in eighteen eighties and related changes in attitude towards the Deaf Community and their language which contributed to legislative changes reflected in the status of Norwegian Sign Language, deaf people and their right to education.
