Implementation of Modern Approaches in Electronic Health Record
Dioszegi, Matej ; Nagy, Miroslav (advisor) ; Říha, Antonín (referee)
In the present work we study the possible implementations of electronic health record using modern technologies. The main goal is decomposition of server functionality among multiple parts. We use the idea of web-services, which means that each part of the system offers services available for remote hosts. The components communicate with each other using the SOAP protocol. We also study the possibility of storing patient's administrative information into separate storage, which suits the purpose better than original data trees, which are used to store clicnical information. Besides, this separation is suitable for anonymization of data used by statistical computing. In my work the manner of storing patient's clinical data in data trees and possibility of flexible modeling of data layer using knowledge trees, which together create a knowledge base, is preserved.
Using business process modeling tools for development of formalized medical guidelines
Mišúr, Juraj ; Nagy, Miroslav (advisor) ; Richta, Karel (referee)
This thesis is analyzing the usage of business process modeling (BPM) tools in the eld of medical guidelines. Business Process Management Notation is used for business process modeling and a sample medical guideline from the eld of cardiology is modeled with it. This guideline is then converted to Business Process Execution Language and executed in runtime environment to simulate the guideline behavior. Learned facts are then used to compare BPMN and BPEL with the existing modeling language for medical guidelines - GLIF. The practical result of this thesis is a prototype application evaluating medical guidelines modeled using BPMN and executed using BPEL. The guideline also communicates with electronic health record for gathering patient's data.
Optimization of warehouse locations by evolutionary algorithms
Nagy, Marek ; Neruda, Roman (advisor) ; Kratochvíl, Miroslav (referee)
In this thesis, we propose an algorithm to solve the warehouse location-routing prob- lem. The task represents a difficult combinatorial optimization problem that is of great practical importance in logistic applications. It is a combination of multiple well-known problems that cannot be solved separately and therefore we approach this as a new prob- lem completely. We introduce Evolutionary Algorithms and their basic concepts as well as define our specific problem more specifically and we use a branch of Evolutionary Algorithms to optimize the placement of warehouses on a given map. Since our main goal is to optimize delivery time, we also run experiments in order to determine how the algorithm performs compared to Evolutionary Algorithm optimizing distance. We also do not take into consideration cost of warehouse itself nor cost of storing and cost of the trucks since goal of this thesis is to optimize delivery time. 1

Lucie Cahlíková, Ph.D. Title of Doctoral Thesis: Alkaloids of the genus Hippeastrum (Amaryllidaceae): isolation, identification, biological activity. Hippeastrum x hybridum cv. Ferrari was chosen based on results of previous screening studies for detailed phytochemical study for the purpose of isolation of the widest range of AAs. From 25 kg of fresh bulbs was obtained 29,46 g of purified alkaloidal extract, which was processed using column chromatography. Finally, 18 pure alkaloids were isolated including one new homolycorine-type alkaloid (9-O-demethyllycorenine). All compounds were identified by spectrometric techniques (GC-MS, ESI-MS, NMR, optical rotation) and by comparison with literature data. All alkaloids, isolated in sufficient amount, were tested for their biological activities associated with Alzheimer's disease (inhibition of hAChE, hBuChE, and POP), and cytotoxic activity. The inhibitory activity against human cholinesterases was determined in vitro by a modified Ellmanʼs spectrophotometric method. In the hAChE/hBuChE assay, except for 1,2- O,O'-diacetyl-dihydrolycorine which demonstrated a mild hBuChE inhibition potency...

The Investment Evaluation of the Machinery Company
Nagy, Martin ; Zinecker, Marek (referee) ; Luňáček, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis is focused on the investment evaluation of a machinery company. The theoretical part describes the technology of drilling, investment project, investment decision making, financing of the investment, its efficiency evaluation by dynamic methods. The practical part introduces the investment project and summarizes theoretical solutions. Moreover, the author carried out the company’s balance sheet and the prognosis of its sales by performing multiple factors linear regression analysis using software Gretl, determined the type of the investment financing and selected the investment project based on the point criteria and the theoretical solutions. Furthermore, the efficiency of the chosen project was evaluated by the dynamic methods described in the theoretical part. Finally, the author created a Net Present Value sensitivity analysis and compared results of the static and dynamic methods. These results become fundamentals for recommendation of the investment project realization.

Effect of the eta eta channel and interference phenomena in the two-pion transitions of charmonia and bottomonia
Surovtsev, Yu .S. ; Bydžovský, Petr ; Gutsche, T. ; Kaminski, R. ; Lyubovitskij, V. E. ; Nagy, M.
The basic shape of di-pion mass spectra in the two-pion transitions of both charmonia and bottomonia states is explained by a unified mechanism based on contributions of the pi pi, K (K) over bar, and eta eta coupled channels including their interference. The role of the individual f(0) resonances in shaping the di-pion mass distributions in the charmonia and bottomonia decays is considered.
