Wireless charging station
Pokorný, Josef ; Hrabina,, Jan (referee) ; Janoušek, Jiří (advisor)
The paper deals with possibilities of wireless charging and transmission of electric energy using inductive coils. Basic models of air coils are described using CST simulation software. The product consists of a transducer for transmitting coil, two coils with ferromagnetic shield, synchronous rectifier and battery charging circuit. Communication is provided by an 8-bit microcontroller with wireless modules and an ethernet shield for online monitoring. The aim of the thesis is to design a wireless charging station with a power transfer of 40 W with the possibility of online monitoring of the charging state.
Realistic Rendering Using Radiosity
Janoušek, Jiří ; Kršek, Přemysl (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
This thesis deals with one of the global illumination algorithms - the radiosity algorithm. There are handled fundamentals of the radiosity algorithm including basic equations and relations. You can see review of possible solutions of this method in use and description of the implementation based on video card and OpenGL rendering. The thesis tries to explain main problems and attitudes to implementation of radiosity briefly, clearly and comprehensibly.
Production of pressure filter casing
Janoušek, Jiří ; Forejt, Milan (referee) ; Podaný, Kamil (advisor)
The project presents a proposal for the technology of production of the pressure filter casing used in hydraulic systems, which is made of non-alloy carbon steel 12 020. With the help of a literature study of cold extrusion and calculations, the production of the component was designed, which will take place in two operations. Before each operation, the surface treatment is performed by phosphating and soaping and inter-operational annealing must take place. Tool sets were designed for both operations and a press was selected from the company's machine park with a nominal force of 25,000 kN. Finally, a technical and economic evaluation was proved, which shows that the price of production of one piece is CZK 187. The turning point was set at 3 497 pieces per year.
Fusion of drone sensors for motion planning
Semerád, Jakub ; Novotný, Josef (referee) ; Janoušek, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with drone flight planning in an unknown environment. In order for a drone to be able to perceive its environment, it must be equipped with the necessary sensory equipment. This thesis discusses possible sensor equipment suitable for flight coordination and collision avoidance. Also, software for sensor data processing and drone motion planning are described and used here. LiDAR and depth camera were used for the experiment in this thesis. In the experiment the data from both sensors are fused together through ROS software and displayed in RViz simulation environment. This data are suitable for subsequent use in drone motion planning and collision avoidance.
Object recognition based autonomous control of an unmanned aerial vehicle
Klouda, Jan ; Marcoň, Petr (referee) ; Janoušek, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with the control of an autonomous drone based on image recognition. The goal is to create a program in the Python programming language that determines the position of an object in the field of view of the camera. The autonomous drone then performs a predefined operation. The work is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part describes the methods of image processing and evaluation of objects, the resulting methods of communication between the control station and the drone. The practical part describes the implementation of autonomous control of the aircraft based on the detection of objects in the image. The last part deals with the evaluation of successful detection objects and the control accuracy of the created solution.
Quarter-mode four-element antenna array
Janoušek, Jiří ; Fiala, Pavel (referee) ; Raida, Zbyněk (advisor)
Thesis deals with problematics of Compact Circularly Polarized Antenna Based on Quarter-Mode Substrate Integrated Waveguide Sub-Array and process. It also solves a complex structure of microstrip power distribution network. The goal was to create a~physical functioning model of this antenna and to measure its attributes in free space and also near the human body. Theoretical part of this work is taking on the calculation of parameters of the proposed antenna. Practical part is then solving modelation and simulations in program ANSYS HFSS. Physical model of the antenna was not created and some flaws were found in the presented model of the microstrip power distribution network. A possible solutions were proposed to eliminate these flaws.
Increasing the safety of the outside perimeter
Janoušek, Jiří ; Fiala, Pavel (referee) ; Marcoň, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with increasing the safety of the external perimeter. The theoretical part describes the parameters of areas exhibiting an increased safety risk. For these spaces, relevant safety hazards and corresponding elimination methods are determined. Then, the term "drone" is analyzed in the context of its applicability. The practical section characterizes the process of building and configuring unmanned aircraft to guard the perimeter and the designing and fabrication of an automatic charging station for the aircraft. The final part of the thesis is a brief manual describing correct handling of the created system.
Drone localization and navigation in a familiar environment without GNSS
Pintér, Marco ; Janoušek, Jiří (referee) ; Raichl, Petr (advisor)
This thesis is aimed at development of the localization system without using GNSS. The first part describes technologies, enable determination of position in the area. Methods for determining distance between transmitter and receiver are also described. In the next part of the thesis describes ROS communication form with flight controller PixHawk. On the basis of the acquired knowledge is described choosage of preferred technology and method of determination of the distance between transmitter and receiver.
Drone swarm control
Kolísek, Josef ; Raichl, Petr (referee) ; Janoušek, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis focuses on the drone swarm control and the using in practice. It is about the interconnection of several control units of drones and subsequent coordination in the air. The work is divided into theoretical part and practical part. The practical part describes the possibilities of drone swarm flying and coordination of multiple drones. Possible ways of communication and transmission of telemetry data for control using the MAVLink protocol. The next part describes the possibilities of controlling multiple units from one central point and creating flight instructions. The practical part deals with the realization of the software for synchronized flight of two unmanned aircraft and their connection with the ground control station for the transmission of flight instructions. The last part of the work deals with evaluation of the control, compliance of the established flight plan and the proposal of other possibilities for improvement with the solution of deficiencies.
Design of a Three Phase Fault Tolerant Nested Neutral Point Piloted Converter with Active Capacitor Voltage Balancing and Space-Vector Modulation
Klement, Dominik ; Wang, Jun ; Janoušek, Jiří
This paper presents a design for a nested neutral point piloted(NNPP) converter. The proposed design incorporates redundantcontrol of each power stage and additional sensing and controlcircuitry required to implement a fault tolerant operation.Additionally, an active capacitor voltage balancing technique isproposed and implemented to enhance the converter's volumetricdensity and improve the output harmonics by mitigating capacitorvoltage imbalance. Simulation results validate the effectiveness ofthe proposed design. Hardware prototype is designed and iscurrently being assembled.
