Optimization of DDoS Attack Mitigation based on Machine Learning

The work is focused on creating a test environment for simulating DoS attacks. This environment is useful for verifying the vulnerability of networks and services against the phenomenon of DDoS attacks, therefore it will be used to test the tools and techniques developed to defend against DDoS attacks. The outputs of these experiments can then be used as recommendations for network administrators to help improve the refensibility of their systems. The resulting tool is implemented in Python using the PyTest module. We were able to implement many of today’s most common DoS attacks, such as floods and amplification attacks. It is thus possible to test services against these most serious DDoS threats. The resulting tool is easily extensible to other methodologies or attack types, so it can also be used for emerging DoS attacks in the future.

Exotarium ZOO Brno
Kučera, Jiljí ; Wittmann, Maxmilian (referee) ; Šindlar, Jiljí (advisor)
The topic of the bachelor thesis is the design of a pavilion for the Australia - New Guinea exhibition in Brno Zoo. The building serves mainly as an exposition and home for exotic species of birds, small mammals and fish. The building should meet all the conditions of buildings for the public, working conditions for employees and animal welfare. The area under consideration is located in the premises of the Brno Zoo, in the northern part of the district of Bystrc. The construction site is located roughly in the middle of the zoo at the crossroads between the Tropical Pavilion and the African Village. The relatively sloping, irregular plot is accessible from the north and east sides by a campus road. The kangaroo enclosure is directly adjacent to the west side, while the bison and camel enclosures are located to the north, across the road. The resulting design consists of a two-storey building that follows the contour line of the site. It is a building composed of two regular masses of rectangular plan. The upper smaller mass is superimposed on the lower larger mass. The pavilion includes indoor and outdoor aviaries, terrariums, aquariums, staff facilities, animal facilities and food preparation. The facade of the Exotarium imitates the red rock typical of Australia. It is made up of an ETICS system to which a moulded polystyrene layer and a painted surface will be added. An extensive green roof with aviaries is proposed on the main building. The design includes a small plaza to provide shade for visitors. Two buildings are proposed within the square - refreshments and public toilets. The bachelor thesis is based on documents in the form of assignment, dwg drawing of the cadastral situation and architectural study from the course BGA036 - Architectural Atelier 5.
The MDSR Vegetation Filter
Kučera, Jakub
This paper deals with the software implementation of a vegetation filter using the MDSR algorithm and its subsequent testing on a variety of pre-selected point clouds. The results of each filtering algorithm were compared visually in sections with the results of other conventionally used filtering algorithms. Comparisons were also made by calculating the root mean square deviations of the results of the conventional algorithms from the TIN surface generated from the MDSR filter results.
The analysis of Cu-Sn-Sb ternary alloy
Kučera, Jan ; Doubrava, Marek (referee) ; Jan, Vít (advisor)
This bacholor thesis deals with substituting silver-based material, currently used for experimental semi-liquid extrusion. The proposed material is from the Cu-Sb-Sn system. The theoretical part of the work deals with soldering and phase diagrams. The experimental part is devoted to the analysis of three proposed alloys from the Cu-Sb-Sn system, their structural and mechanical properties. Thermal analyzes of the alloys were performed using differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), the microstructure using a light microscope and a scanning electron microscope, and a hardness tester was also used to determine the hardness. The results are summarized in the discussion.
