Sexual themes in the media and their impact on girls'self-image

This bachelor thesis deals with sexual content in the media and its effects on the self-image of adolescent girls. Sexual content occurs across media with increasing frequency. These contents are very easily accessible due to smart technologies in today's digital age. The theoretical section discusses media in relation to sexuality, emphasizes defining erotic and sexual elements and themes, and reviews the importance and development of self-image along with possible influences on girls' self-image. This is followed by a methodological section that outlines the research method, the selection of respondents and the analysis of the data collected along with the ethical context of the research. The research part took the form of qualitative semi-structured interviews with adolescent girls aged thirteen to eighteen. The data collected was subsequently processed through thematic analysis. The data collected through the interviews revealed that the media has a significant influence on girls' self-image, both positive and negative, through the consumption of sexual content - erotic and sexual themes and elements. Media Portrayal of Abortion in the 21st Century of Poland and Czech Republic

The aim of the submitted bachelor thesis is to gain a deeper understanding of the development of media coverage of the topic of artificial termination of pregnancy in the context of political and social events, especially in Poland, and their influence on public discussion and perception of this sensitive issue. In the period from 2017 to 2023, the thesis examines the media coverage of abortion in the two most influential and widely read media outlets - in the Czech Republic, it is the most visited online medium idnes.cz, and in Poland, it is Rzeczpospolita - rp.pl. Through quantitative research and theoretical analysis, it demonstrates that the events in Poland in 2020, when there was a tightening of rules for performing abortions, led to a tenfold increase in media coverage of this topic in Poland in the presentation of rp.pl; there was no significant increase in coverage in the Czech idnes.cz, and the medium did not react particularly to this situation. Conversely, similar events in the USA, where in 2022 the Supreme Court returned the power to decide on the legalization of abortions to individual states, resulted in a twofold increase in media coverage of abortions in idnes.cz. Media portrayal of the "Jan Cimický" case in the selected Czech online media

This bachelor thesis titled Media portrayal of the "Jan Cimický" case in the selected Czech online media is dedicated to the analysis of the representation of the case of Jan Cimický, a psychiatrist accused of sexual assault, in the Czech online media space. The thesis is based on the assumption that the media set the agenda and frame the information that reaches the public. Key concepts related to the context of the case, such as sexual harassment and violence, victimization, and rape culture, are clarified. The impacts on the victim's life are also mentioned, and how the media can contribute to so-called secondary victimization. For the analysis, the work uses qualitative research methods, specifically grounded theory methods, which are described in the methodological part. A sample of articles was selected according to predetermined criteria and subsequently analyzed. The analysis focused on the categories and patterns that occurred in the media in the context of this case, and then placed them within a broader framework.

The bachelor thesis deals with the business plan of the RACEK restaurant by opening a new branch. It focuses on the definition of basic concepts related to the business plan and then the business plan is elaborated on the basis of theoretical knowledge. On the basis of the results, I then recommend to realize the whole investment or just a part of it.
Multi-funkcional building

The study of the multi-functional building in Brno solves the new spaces with the residential and administrative function, and a space for the bookshop. The groundplot is situated in the vacant lot on the street Milady Horákové (town district - Zábrdovice). The building is incorporate between the existing residential houses on a flat terrain. The southwest plot boundary is oriented into the courtyard in the direct of the business center IBC. The object has 7 floors and one underground technical floor, where are situated also the underground garages for the flat owners. The bookshop and the entrance into the building are in the first floor. In the second floor there is the office space. The rest of the building has the residential function.

This master´s thesis focuses on a proposal marketing plan for event Slovácké beachové léto. The thesis is divided into three main parts. Theoretical part describes marketing terms, which are based on other parts in this thesis. Analytical part characterizes event Slovácké beachové léto, describes current marketing and communication mix. Analytical part describes also analysis of general and business environment, SWOT analysis and marketing research. Based on results of analytical part there is developed proposal part which includes some solutions for an improvement of marketing and other new ideas for a better process of Slovacké beachové léto. These proposals are described in detail and planned based on time schedule.
Importance and use of marketing tools

This diploma thesis has several objectives. The first one is to analyse current situation of ABC s.r.o. in relation to marketing tools used by this company. The second objective is to compare mentioned tools with marketing tools used by a smaller enterprise. Other aims of this thesis are analysis of the use of marketing tools and analysis of their impact on consumers (customers) while using method of questionnaire (survey). The work is divided into two parts – theoretical and practical. Theoretical part explains essence of marketing, its evolution, basic principles and terms. Some of these methods are practically used in the second part of the work while analysing the situation of the company. The last part of the work includes marketing plan which should support company’s strategy and an evaluation of its impact on the cash flows of the enterprise and their effective use in marketing.

The aim of this Bachelor Thesis is to suggest ways for improvement of customer satisfaction while using marketing methods and methods of market research. Further aims are findings of how to proceed with the refurbishment of a house or an apartment prior to its sale and finding the best ways of advertising and selling property. Last but not least is a survey of customer preferences in buying land, family house or apartment building. Whole thesis is divided into two parts – theoretical and practical. The first part explains the nature of marketing, its development, basic principles and concepts. Those are practically applied in the second part while using methods of sales marketing. Conclusion of this thesis is summarising suggestions for communication improvement in the real estate agency, suggestions for improvement of sales linked to a refurbishment of property and analysis of sales.

This bachelor thesis deals with the design of wheelchair for disabled dog. The main goal is to design functional and durable device with attractive appearance that will make life easier for canine patients and their owners in difficult life situations. The thesis is based on survey of existing products and on study of current state of knowledge concerning needs of canine patients and their parameters. It is veterinary product that can be used in rehabilitation centers for animals and by owners of handicapped dogs.

Methodological material summarizing variants of the habitat conservation principles for butterflies inhabitting mesophilic and humid grasslands under various scenarios of climate change. The species of interest, protected by the EU Habitats Directive, are Euphydryas aurinia, Phengaris nausithous, Phengaris teleius, Lycaena dispar and Lycaena helle. It includes the predictions of suitable locations for spontaneous or assisted colonization.
