Supervision as a Tool for Support and Development of Primary School Employees

The thesis deals with supervision as a tool for support and development of primary school staff. The aim of the thesis is to analyse the process of implementation of supervision service in primary schools and to investigate different possibilities and forms of its use among primary school staff. First, the thesis focuses on the definition, objectives and functions of supervision. It then examines the possible forms and uses of supervision for primary school staff, including its history and current state of use in the Czech education system, and attention is also paid to the specifics of supervision in the school environment compared to other fields. Furthermore, the thesis describes the process of implementing supervision services in primary schools, including the preparatory phase before implementation, and discusses the conditions and factors that support the successful implementation and development of supervision practice. The aim of the thesis is to analyse the course and identify the characteristics of the personnel processes of recruitment, selection, and adaptation of employees to trainee programmes. First, the thesis focuses on talent management issues, specifically the definition of talent and talent management, talent identification, talent stabilization and development, and trainee programmes. Next, attention is given to the personnel processes of recruitment, selection, hiring and adaptation of employees and the training, development, and career management of employees. In the context of employee recruitment, the thesis also focuses on human resources marketing, particularly the objectives and importance of human resources marketing and employer branding. Subsequently, attention is given to the specifics of personnel processes of recruitment, selection, and adaptation of employees within the organization of trainee programmes. Prevention of Burnout Syndrome in Primary School Teachers

The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to identify the possibilities of prevention of the occupational burnout among primary school teachers. The thesis provides definition of the occupational burnout, its causes, stages, manifestations, and consequences. Subsequently, it describes the occupational burnout among primary school teachers. This part introduces the teaching profession and the most common stressors and risk factors that affect this profession in relation to the occupational burnout. Next, attention is paid to the issue of prevention of the occupational burnout among primary school teachers in terms of prevention techniques and preventive educational programs. Part of the thesis is quantitative empirical research, the aim of which is to determine the level of risk of the occupational burnout among primary school teachers. The survey respondents of the are one hundred and twenty-six teachers who work in eleven primary schools in the Central Bohemia Region.
The Process of Recruiting and Selecting Machine Mechanics in Production

The aim of the thesis is to identify and systematize the process of recruiting and selecting employees for the position of machine mechanic in production. Attention is focused on general starting points in the field of filling jobs process, recruitment and selection of employees. Subsequently, the job position of a machine mechanic in production and its general competencies are defined. Then, the specifics of recruiting and selecting production machine mechanics are characterized, which are based on the starting points of recruiting and selecting employees, but at the same time reflect the specifics of the position of machine mechanics in production. The empirical investigation was conducted in the organization LEGO Production, s. r. o., and was implemented by analyzing the organization's documentation on the process of recruiting and selecting employees and subsequent semi-structured interviews with informants. Stigmatization of People Suffering from Mental Illness in Work Life

5 Abstract The bachelor's thesis deals with the issue of stigmatization of persons with mental illness in the work process. The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to identify the causes, manifestations, consequences and possibilities of reducing the stigmatization of people with mental illness when looking for work, when starting a job, during the working career and during its termination. Part of the work is not only a description of the current situation of people with mental illness on the Czech labor market, but also an outline of the historical development of employment of people with mental illness. The thesis also deals with the basic specifics of the work process and offers a more detailed approach to the process of stigmatization and self-stigmatization. The aim of the qualitative empirical investigation is to find out, through semi-structured interviews, what factors and situations individuals with direct experience of mental illness found to be stigmatizing in their working life. This is a group of 6 respondents who have been diagnosed with a mental disorder according to MKN 10 in the past. Most of the respondents are current or former clients of the non-profit organization Fokus Praha, z.ú. Support for Employees of Czech Armed Forces with Posttraumatic Stress Disorder after the Return from a Millitary Mission

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to analyse the forms of assistance provided by the Armed Forces of the Czech Republic to employees with post-traumatic stress disorder after returning from a foreign mission. First, the attention is paid to the characteristics of post-traumatic stress disorder and its treatment. Then the text focuses on foreign missions, what precedes them and what follows after returning home. Next, the thesis elaborates on the topic of post-traumatic stress disorder within employees of the Army of the Czech Republic and focuses on help after returning from a foreign mission and treatment for employees with post-traumatic stress disorder. Part of the thesis is empirical research; the aim was to find out what forms of treatment are used by employees of the Czech Army with post-traumatic stress disorder. The Influence of the Physical Attractiveness of Job Applicants on Success in the Selection Process

5 Abstract The subject of interest of the present thesis is the discrimination of physically less attractive job applicants in the selection process in organizations. The aim of the thesis is to analyse the potential impact of physical attractiveness of female job applicants on their success in the selection process in organisations. The thesis includes a total of four theoretical chapters that deal with job analysis and description and employee qualification profiles; analysis of job applicant files as a method of employee selection; physical attractiveness and common characteristics of physically attractive individuals; and discrimination against physically less attractive job applicants. The thesis also includes a quantitative empirical research to examine the effect of physical attractiveness of job applicants on the likelihood of being invited for a selection interview. A total of 39 participants, both male and female employees, who have experience of recruitment in organisations, took part in the empirical research. The task of the participants was to select fictitious structured CVs including attached photographs of the job applicants in relation to the job being offered. Rhetorical Skills of Lecturers of Further Education

The diploma's thesis deals with the specific area od communication skills of further education lecturers - rhetoric. The aim of the thesis is to find out how the lecturers of further education develop their rhetorical skills so that the communication among them and the participants of education would be professional and effective. Firstly, the further education lecturer and his competencies with a focus on rhetorical skills are defined according to the National Pedagogical Institute of the Czech Republic. Subsequently, the theoretical basis of rhetoric, its history and forms such as verbal, non-verbal and paraverbal communication are described. Attention is paid to the communication skills of further education lecturers with the focus on their speech. Part of the thesis is a qualitative investigation. The aim of the investigation is to analyse how the preparation of lecturers of further education in the area of rhetorical skills looks like and what effect it has on the educational process. The investigation is carried out in the form of interviews with at least fourteen of further education who attend the courses in the field of adult education at least twice a month.
Communication of Managers with Problematic Employees

Diploma thesis deals with communication of managers with problematic employees. As problematic employees are not just perceived individuals, who have been categorized with specific mental illness, but employees participating in a toxic working environment and insufficient work performance are also included. Big inspiration for my diploma thesis are thoughts of clinical and forensic psychologist Laurence Miller, who was dealing with communication and functioning problematic employees in organizations. The aim of this diploma thesis is identification of problematic employees and identification of effective communication of managers with them. Empirical research also is a part of diploma thesis and its aim is to ascertain communication techniques of managers with problematic employees and identification of problematic employees in an organization providing urban public transport company. In an organization providing urban public transport is assumed a higher incident of pathologies and undesirable behaviour, as it is an environment with specific company culture. The Process of Adaptation of Foreign Administrative Staff in Large International Organizations

The aim of this Diploma thesis is to analyse the adaptation process of foreign staff in large international organizations in the Czech Republic and to identify factors which influence it. Attention is paid to international human resource management, its specifics, strategies and the topic of diversity management in international organizations. The process of adaptation is described with focus on foreign staff in international organizations with an orientation on work, social adaptation, adaptation to organizational culture and intercultural adaptation, as well as planning and phases of the adaptation process, problematic factors related to working abroad and the main actors in this process. It deals with the issue of intercultural training in international organizations together with the factors which influence it - the preparation of foreign staff to work in a multicultural environment, its methods and the area of intercultural competences that should be developed through the training.
