Statistical Model Checking of Approximate Computing Systems
Blažek, Michal ; Sekanina, Lukáš (referee) ; Strnadel, Josef (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis focuses on the simulation of models of approximate multipliers. The main aim of the thesis is comparing selected properties of multipliers in an application-specific scope of input values. The thesis includes the conversion of multiplier models from the EvoApproxLib library into models used in the UPPAAL environment. These models are then simulated while monitoring their selected evaluation metrics such as error probability, mean absolute error, etc. From the obtained results, one can conclude that using a suitable approximate multiplier in a specific context can have a positive effect on the error in calculations. The results could therefore have further applications in the field of approximate computing systems.
Oil flow simulation in gearbox
Blažek, Martin ; Prokop, Aleš (referee) ; Řehák, Kamil (advisor)
Lubrication is one of the most important features of designing the transmission and has a great influence on the correct function and long lifetime of bearings and gears of geared transmission. This thesis was focused on the influence of shape of single-speed gearbox case with splash lubrication on oil distribution and churning loss of gear wheel and pinion. Experiences from previous simulation were used to perform oil flow simulations of automotive gearbox test rig. The Particleworks software using the moving particle semi-implicit method was used to simulate and visualize the results. The results of this work can be used as indicators of the influence of the shape of gearbox casing on churning loss and oil distribution, and also as a design idea for appropriate placement of inspection windows in gearbox test rigs.
Always ready
Pavlíčková, Tereza ; Blažek, Martin (referee) ; Mléčka, Jan (advisor)
In the pursuit of an adaptable, accessible, and secure form of protection to safeguard citizens against unforeseen influences, the proposal addresses the inadequate capacities and coverage of shelters for the civilian population in the Czech Republic. Three examples, illustrating the integration of these structures into the existing urban fabric, also demonstrate their ability to change function depending on current conditions, needs, and the potential for adapting the structure to the site's context. Throughout the proposal, I drew upon analyses of existing civil defense shelters in the Czech Republic, which often serve solely as passive shelters, contrasting them with shelters worldwide that are not only utilised during crises but also function as fully functional multifunctional spaces in everyday life.
Production of the distributor by non-convential forming technology
Blažek, Matěj ; Peterková, Eva (referee) ; Jopek, Miroslav (advisor)
The thesis is focused on the evaluation of the possibility of manufacturing a distributor body used for distribution of heat-bearing medium in underfloor heating. For the part, due to the series of 100 000 pieces·year-1, the technology of high-pressure hydrofroming without active action of axial presses is chosen. The original solution with a forming pressure of 58,5 MPa did not lead to success and an optimization was necessary, where the pressure was increased to 158,5 MPa, which also did not lead to success. This was followed by a further optimization consisting of hot forming at 700 °C and a pressure of 158,5 MPa, again with no successful solution. The last possible treatment option of changing the material to 11 321 steel and pressure 134,2 MPa was not successful and the high pressure hydrofroming method with passive action of axial dies is not recommended for industrial practice. The final step was an economic evaluation, where the price per piece was determined to be 133,3 CZK with a 20% margin. Considering that the product is suitable the profit will start to be generated after the production of 140 460 pieces.
Possibilities of evaluation durability of the surface layer of concrete structures
Blažek, Michal ; Žalud, Oldřich (referee) ; Vymazal, Tomáš (advisor)
The thesis is focused on possibilities of durability evaluation of surface layer of concrete structures. The durability of concrete surface layer usually determines the durability of the structure as a unit. It has to be determined in what environment the structure is situated and what influences it has to face, to set the durability of the structure. There is a several normative prescription to set the resistance of the structure. There is formulated a summary of the most widely used and known prescriptions in the theoretical part of the thesis. It is a lot of effort to estimate the durability of the concrete by estimation of permeability of the concrete surface layer recently. Thus these methods are also formulated in the summary and there are compared the individual outputs of the tests. The permeability and pore structures of the concrete surface layer are crucial parameters for the durability of concrete structure. These parameters influence the construction properties of the concrete as well, thus the thesis is focused on relationship of the pore structure and the strength in press of the concrete.
CNC cutting technology
Blažek, Martin ; Kalivoda, Milan (referee) ; Prokop, Jaroslav (advisor)
This is a bachelor`s thesis concerning technological characteristics of cutting machines and CNC programing of lathes. Discusses the posibility of manufacturing assign shaft.
Family house in Rokytnice nad Rokytnou
Blažek, Martin ; Kervitcer, Marek (referee) ; Sobotka, Jindřich (advisor)
This bachelor thesis solves the design of a family house in Rokytnice nad Rokytnou in the district of Třebíč. The family house is designed as a two-story building with a basement, warm flat roof and a garage for two cars. The design respects the nature of the surrounding area and makes full use of the site. Designed for 4 to 6 people. The perimeter walls in the basement are made of Porotherm ceramic fittings and insulated with polystyrene. The perimeter walls of the above-mentioned floors are also made of Porotherm ceramic fittings with embedded thermal insulation. Ceiling structures are reinforced concrete. The plot is mostly flat. The thesis contains the drawing and documentation in the form of the implementation project, the design includes also the thermal technical assessment, the fire safety solution, the acoustic assessment and the lighting assessment.
Choice of Legal Form for Doing Business from the Viewpoint of Income Tax
Hubáček, Petr ; Blažek, Martin (referee) ; Svirák, Pavel (advisor)
The bachelor thesis focuses on a convenient entrepreneurship form for tax duty optimalization by two concrete natural persons. The thesis analyzes current situation and successive tax amount comparison by three companies with different entrepreneurship forms. The result points at the best entrepreneurship form option for each concrete subject.
Tracked vehicle for transport of the pallets
Blažek, Martin ; Škopán, Miroslav (referee) ; Kašpárek, Jaroslav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the design of a remotely controlled tracked vehicle for the transport of pallets on unstable ground. The aim of the work is to make a short research of similar tracked transport machines and to design concept including choice of vehicle drive, design of pallet lifting equipment and strength calculations of sub-parts.
Multifunctional House Jihlava, Handlovy Dvory
Blažek, Martin ; Procházka, Jiří (referee) ; Sobotka, Jindřich (advisor)
The subject of this diploma thesis is the project documentation of the new multifunctional building on the plot in Jihlava, Handlovy Dvory. The building is planted in the shape of a substantially elongated rhomboid and is staggered into almost half-symmetrical halves. The height of these two parts is mutually displaced by one half of the floor so that the object better copes with the significant slope of the plot. The building has five above-ground floors. On the first floor there is a beerhouse with its facilities. The beerhouse goes on to the terrace. On the second to fifth floors are individual flats. The flats are designed primarily as 1 + kitchen and 2 + kitchen. On the second floor there are also apartments. Parking is done by a perpendicular stall around the adjacent road and the car park next to the building. The work contains drawing documentation for construction, thermal engineering assessment, fire safety solution, acoustic assessment and lighting assessment
