Winter Olympics in Sochi: Russian national identity and the authoritarian state.

The following thesis analyses the role of the organization of the XXII. Winter Olympic Games in Sochi in the process of consolidation of the Russian authoritarian regime and the formation of national identity between 2007 and 2014. The preparations for the Sochi Olympics and their implementation coincided with the transformation of the Russian political system, which was rapidly adapting to the consequences of Vladimir Putin's unconstitutional return to the presidency. This paper is based on the hypothesis that hosting a global sport mega-event (SME) such as the Olympic Games provides authoritarian regimes with the means to reinforce existing official discourses of identity and ideology, suppress domestic and foreign criticism, and create an environment for corruption to flourish. In this way, it contributes to the consolidation of the regime's power structures and the legitimacy of its rule. Systematic state support for national professional athletes, highlighting their achievements in international competition, and unprecedented economic and political investment in the success of the Olympics have the potential to reinforce patriotic sentiments and build positive links between the state and the citizen. Form shim manufacturing by compound tool

Purpose of this diploma thesis is a design of a compound tool for manufacturing the form shim. The form shim is made by shearing and bending technology from steel sheet 11 343.1. Thickness is 2 mm. On the basis of a literary study and design calculations was designed the compound tool, which will manufacture this component by 4 actions on the automated line containing rewinder, feeding levelling machine and eccentric press with designed compound tool. Economic calculations show that the designed manufacturing is profitable.

However, a major problem with the purchase of these devices to common households is the high price and compatibility of those products from one vendor. The goal of this bachelor thesis is to create a comprehensive low-cost smart home solution that the user will be able to manage without much effort. This solution is implemented by the latest technologies and tools.

Photoluminiscence study of thin layers of MoS2

The thesis deals with study of thin layers of transition metal dichalcogenides, especially of molybdenum disulfide. Nanostructures were fabricated on two-dimensional crystals of MoS2 and WSe2. Within followed analysis attention was paid to the photoluminescence properties. In the thesis transition metal dichalcogenides are reviewed and description of the modified process of preparation by micromechanical exfoliation is given.

Measurement of Dialyser-Membrane Diffusion Coefficient

This thesis focuses on the measurement of diffusion coefficient of dialysis membrane. The first part describes possibilities of membrane modelling. Basic models, which allow us to determine the basic characteristics of dialysis membranes like permeability and diffusion coefficient, are described. Next chapter deals with basic types and properties of membranes. The main part focuses on making the experimental installation, which is used to simulate permeance of contrast agent, used in DCE-MRI, through dialysis membrane. The last theoretical chapter describes calculations used to estimate diffusion coefficient. Practical part of this thesis uses a designed experimental installation for estimation of diffusion coefficient for two contrast agents Gadovist® and Multihance®.

This thesis describes a chronological overview of the most important sport cars BMW from the begining of the company up to the present, which influenced motorsport in a way. The first part describes the history of the BMW car company. The next part of the thesis focuses on individual cars. The structual design of every model is described, eventually marked different unconventional construction. Next, there is a short part about succeses in races. Finally the most important technical specifications are mentioned.
