Tato diplomová práce se zabývá pojetím kurikula a zkušenosti u Johna Deweyho. John Dewey formuloval na přelomu 19. a 20. století celou řadu přelomových myšlenek, ze kterých v různých modifikacích vychází světové vzdělávání dodnes. Právě jeho filozofie výchovy a Pragmatismus stojí na počátku celé řady inspirativních vzdělávacích proudů a pojetí dítěte v průběhu 20. i 21. století. Cílem této práce je zmapování zásadních myšlenek, na kterých filozofie výchovy Johna Deweyho stojí, zejména pak zásadní pojmy - pojetí kurikula a zkušenost. Právě tyto dva pojmy hrají klíčovou roli v pochopení filozofie Johna Deweyho. Přínos této práce je v analýze koncepce Johna Deweyho, která je jedinečná právě v tom, že je konstruována od filozofie vzdělávání až po konkrétní vyučování. Zahrnuje v sobě jak složku teoretickou, tak praktickou. Právě kontinuita mezi jednotlivými složkami - od ideového k praktické - je zásadní a v současném vzdělávacím systému zde vidíme velké mezery, které jsou způsobeny tím, že vzdělávání není pojato jako ideovo - praktický celek. Ale je vůbec možném takto ke vzdělávání přistupovat? Analýza ukazuje i slabá místa, která s sebou konstrukce vzdělávání Johna Deweyho přináší. This thesis explores the notion of curriculum and experience in John Dewey. John Dewey states a number of ground-breaking ideas at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries which are in various modifications valid in world of today's education. It is his philosophy of education and Pragmatism that has been at the origin of a number of inspiring educational currents and conceptions of the child throughout the 20th and 21st centuries. The aim of this paper is to map out the fundamental ideas underlying John Dewey's philosophy of education, particularly the key concepts of curriculum and experience. It is these two concepts that play a key role in understanding John Dewey's philosophy. The contribution of this thesis is in the analysis of John Dewey's concept, which is unique precisely because it is constructed from the philosophy of education to the concrete teaching. It includes both a theoretical and a practical component. It is the continuity between the components - from the ideational to the practical - that is essential and we see major gaps in the current education system due to the fact that education is not conceived as an ideational-practical whole.
