Abstract: Latest improvements of the syntheses of ANPs using microwave irradiation are presented, namely a novel, efficient, and environmentally friendly synthesis of dialkyl haloalkylphosphonates via the microwave-assisted Michaelis-Arbuzov reaction and microwave-assisted hydrolysis of phosphonate diesters.
