Úvod: Funkční poruchy hybnosti jsou nosologickou jednotkou spadající do skupiny funkčních neurologických poruch. Jedná se o oblast z pomezí neurologie a psychiatrie, která je i přes relativně častý výskyt klinicky i výzkumně opomíjena. Zpravidla však jde o chronické onemocnění, které pacientům působí významnou disabilitu. Specifická fyzioterapie je považovaná za metodu první volby pro většinu pacientů, nicméně chybí ukazatele její účinnosti. Cíl: Prozkoumat, zda vybrané proměnné - počet absolvovaných hodin specifické fyzioterapie, délka trvání onemocnění a vykazování fibromyalgického vzorce - mohou být vhodnými prediktory úspěšnosti fyzioterapie u funkčních poruch hybnosti. Metodika: Retrospektivní studie byla provedena na souboru pacientů s funkčními poruchami hybnosti (n=18). Pacienti před samotnou intervencí vyplnili dotazníky o vykazování fibromyalgického vzorce - Widespread Pain Index a Symptom Severity Index. Následně osobně docházeli na specifickou fyzioterapii. Počet terapií i rozložení terapií v čase se napříč pacienty lišily. V rámci posledního fyzioterapeutického sezení bylo fyzioterapeutem za pomoci modifikované škály Clinical Global Impression-Improvement zhodnoceno zlepšení symptomů za období intervence. Introduction: Functional movement disorders are a nosological entity falling within the group of functional neurological disorders. Despite their relatively common occurrence, this area at the intersection of neurology and psychiatry is clinically and research-wise overlooked. However, they typically manifest as chronic conditions causing significant disability to patients. Specific physiotherapy is considered the first-line treatment for most patients; however, indicators of its effectiveness are currently lacking. Objective: The aim of this study is to investigate whether selected variables - the number of hours of completed physiotherapy, duration of the illness, and expression of a fibromyalgia- like pattern - can serve as suitable predictors of the success of physiotherapy in functional movement disorders. Methods: This is a retrospective study conducted on a sample of patients with functional movement disorders (n=18). Before the intervention, patients completed questionnaires assessing fibromyalgia-like patterns - the Widespread Pain Index and Symptom Severity Index.
