Diplomová práce se zabývá tématem nuceně nasazených Čechů v Norsku za druhé světové války, čímž navazuje na bakalářskou práci, která tuto téměř neznámou kapitolu česko-norských dějin obecně představila v rámci širšího kontextu nucené práce na norském území. Předložená práce se již nicméně zaměřuje na konkrétní oblasti nasazení, a to na pozadí projektu výstavby Polární železnice na severu země, který měl v nacistických plánech nejvyšší prioritu. Cílem je podat hlubší analýzu nashromážděných pramenů, především deníků, a na jejím základě zmapovat celkové pracovně-životní podmínky českých dělníků na jednotlivých úsecích výstavby. Práce přitom bere v potaz i perspektivu ostatních zainteresovaných stran, mimo jiné norských obyvatel, kteří se pro Čechy, jak výzkum ukazuje, stali významnou součástí jejich působení v Norsku. Zároveň je pak v této souvislosti pojednáno o životě v táboře a mimo něj, přičemž práce porovnává poměry v těchto dvou navzájem se prolínajících "světech". Závěrečná část se poté zaměruje na poválečnou situaci a snaží se nastínit, jakým způsobem tato zkušenost Čechy ovlivnila a jak je na ni nahlíženo v rámci výzkumu na české a norské straně. The diploma thesis deals with the topic of Czech forced workers in Norway during the World War II. It follows the bachelor's thesis, which generally presented this almost unknown chapter of Czech-Norwegian history within the broader context of forced labor within the Norwegian territory. However, the work presented focuses on specific areas of deployment in the background of the Polar Line construction project in the north of the country, which had the highest priority in the Nazi plans. The thesis provides a deeper analysis of the collected sources, especially diaries, and on the basis of this charts the overall working and living conditions of Czech manpower in each construction section. At the same time, the work also takes into account the perspective of other interested parties, including Norwegian residents who have become an important part of Czechs' stay in Norway, as the research reveals. In addition, in this context, life in the camp and outside of it is discussed while the thesis compares the conditions in these two intertwining "worlds". The final part then focuses on the post-war situation and outlines how this experience affected the Czechs and how it is viewed within the framework of research on both Czech and Norwegian side.
