cze Abstract:
Výsledky dotazníkového šetření naznačují, že kompenzační...The aim of the study was to determine the issue of integration of postlingually deaf adults into professional activities - what effect did the cochlear implant have on employment, i.e. what impact did the cochlear implant have on the working life of its user. The research was realized by an anonymous semi-structured type questionnaire, which contained 33 questions overall. 19 adult respondents filled out the questionnaire in total, the questionnaire was provided through the website or sent out via e-mail addresses. The predominant majority (74 %) of respondents stated that they do the same job even after implantation of a cochlear implant. Thanks to the hearing impairment, a total of 37 % of respondents received support from their employers. However, should be taken into consideration that 26 % of respondents haven't confided to their employer about the issue at all. More than half (95 %) of respondents agreed that the cochlear implant provided them expected benefits for participation in working life. At the same time, they assessed the improvement of the situation in individual areas by the number 2 (out of five possible numbers from 1-5) - it is, that there was a slight change for the better. The predominant majority (79 %) of respondents even confided that a cochlear implant in the work...
