Práce se zabývá myšlením, mentalitou, představami a názory vysokoškolských studentů. Zkoumá polemiky a kontroverze, které v oficiálním diskurzu doprovázely požadavky studující mládeže na větší prostor pro autonomní činnost. V centru stojí přitom otázka, do jaké míry tyto diskuse a názorové spory souvisely s proměnou panství ve středoevropské diktatuře ve druhé polovině dvacátého století. Jako příklad skupiny mladé inteligence byli vybráni aktivisté svazáckých a studentských organizací na vysokých školách ve Varšavě, Praze a Bratislavě. Práce je rozdělena do tří částí. První část zkoumá studentské představy o intimitě, věnuje se především diskusím kolem problémů spojených se sexualitou mládeže, studentským manželstvím a bydlením mladých rodin. Druhá část zkoumá studentské představy o rovnosti, zejména v souvislosti s rozmisťovacím řízením a plánovanou zaměstnaností absolventů. Mocenské elity v socialistické společnosti prosazovaly s obnovou takzvané "socialistické zákonnosti" po roce 1956 všeobecně závazná a rovná práva, která však paradoxně produkovala na místní úrovni silné nerovnosti a omezovala pracovní, sociální i transnacionální mobilitu. Třetí část zkoumá potom představy o odlišnosti. Straničtí, odboroví, svazáčtí nebo univerzitní funkcionáři usilovali o zachování generační jednoty a společenské... The thesis deals with thought, mentality and conceptions of the higher education students. It focuses especially on discussions and controversies between students and party, state or universities authorities and aims at frictions which spread in official discourse and arose from student demands on more space for autonomous activity. Its main concern is the way in which these controversies were related to power transformations in the Central-European dictatorship since 1956. As an example of young intelligentsia, activists of youth and student organizations at higher education institutions in Warsaw, Prague and Bratislava have been chosen. The thesis is divided into three parts. The first part researches on the conceptions of intimate, especially problems of youth sexuality, student marriage and living conditions of young families. The second part deals with the conceptions of equality in relation to centralized work-placement of graduates. The power authorities in the state-socialist society laid stress on social equality of all citizens, but paradoxically it produced strong inequality at a local level and undermined work, social and transnational mobility.
