We focus on an intricate synergy between two fundamental expressions of the projective geometry, namely the cross-ratio, and the Riccati equation. The cross-ratio brings a new rationale for the Law of Mass Action, and nonlinear Riccati systems describe parametric dependence of any invariant quantity based on the cross-ratio. Článek se soustředí na dva základní a spjaté projevy projektivní geometrie, kterými jsou invariantní veličina zvaná dvojpoměr a Riccatiho rovnice. Dvojpoměr poskytuje nové geometrické zdůvodnění zákona chemické rovnováhy a nelineární rovnice Riccatiho typu popisují parametrickou závislost libovolného invariantu, založeného na dvojpoměru.
