Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá obrazem otce v současné reklamě a jeho percepcí muži. V teoretické části jsou vysvětlovány základní pojmy ze studia médií, lingvistiky, kognitivní lingvistiky a sociologie. Praktická část se zabývá metodikou výzkumu, formulaci hypotézy a analytických otázek. Závěr práce patří popisu pěti vybraných reklam na nápoje a potraviny, které se objevily na českých obrazovkách v letech 2016 a 2017. Použití metody nestrukturovaného rozhovoru ukázalo, že vybraní muži se neztotožňují s rolí otce vyobrazenou v reklamě. Klíčová slova: reklama, média, gender, jazykový obraz světa, jazykový obraz otce This bachelor thesis deals with the father's image in contemporary advertisement and its perception of men. The theoretical part explains the basic concepts of media studies, linguistics, cognitive linguistics and sociology. The practical part deals with methodology of research, hypothesis formulation and analytical questions. The conclusion of the thesis is a description of five selected beverage and food advertisements that appeared on Czech screens in the years 2016 and 2017. Using the method of unstructed interviews showed that in 5 specific cases, the selected men did not identify with the father's role in the advertisement.
