V poslední době roste zájem o problematiku dopravní obslužnosti. Kraje musí vytvořit dopravní plány, jejichž cílem je mj. vytvořit alternativu zvyšujícímu se užívání osobního automobilu. Dopravní obslužnost hraje roli při utváření sídelního systému. V práci je analyzován vývoj dopravní obslužnosti, závislost kvality dopravní obslužnosti na administrativním statusu sídla a horizontální dopravní poloze v letech 1968 - 2013. Dále se práce věnuje vztahu dopravní obslužnosti a koncentrace obyvatelstva a vztahu vývoje těchto dvou veličin. Pro analýzy byla využita data ze Sčítání lidu, domů a bytů, z jízdních řádů a z aplikace IDOS. Data byla zpracována do grafů, byla kartograficky znázorněna a byly použity i některé statistické metody k hodnocení závislosti. Ukazuje se, že dopravní obslužnost poklesla se změnou politického režimu v roce 1989, kolem roku 2000 se stabilizovala a vliv na zlepšení kvality měl integrovaný dopravní systém, je též prokázán vliv horizontální dopravní polohy a statusu sídla na její kvalitu. Také je ukázána závislost mezi populační velikostí sídla a kvalitou dopravní obslužnosti a také závislost vývoje dopravní obslužnosti a populačního vývoje. Interest in the transport serviceability has been growing recently. Counties have to make transport plans whose purpose is to create an alternative to increasing usage of cars. Transport serviceability plays a role in the shaping of settlement system. Development of transport serviceability, its dependence on the administrative status of the settlement and the dependence on its horizontal transport position are analyzed in this thesis. Then, the thesis attend to the relation of transport serviceability and the concentration of population and to the relation of development of these two characteristics. Data from Sčítání lidu, domů a bytů, timetables and the IDOS application were used for the analysis. They were processed to graphs, cartographic representation and some statistics methods for dependence evaluation were used. There is shown that transport serviceability decreased with the change of political regime in 1989, it stabilized in 2000 and integrated transport system IREDO had an influence on increase of quality of it. The dependence between population size of a settlement and the quality of its transport serviceability and also particular dependence of their developments are shown in this thesis.
