Tato bakalářská práce pojednává o studiu davu od 19. století po současnost. Zaměřuje se zejména na francouzské prostředí a zobrazení davu v literatuře. Jde tedy o analýzu sociologickou, obohacenou o literární pohled. Cílem je objasnit historický vývoj studia davu a analyzovat jednotlivé aspekty davu (jeho negativní zobrazení, patologie davu, kolektivní duši, vůdce davu a psychologické jevy jakými jsou sugesce, identifikace a hypnóza). V závěru se práce snaží odpovědět na otázku, zda je studium davu užitečné i pro dnešní společnost. This thesis deals about the study of the crowd from 19th century till today. It focuses mainly on France and the crowd in literature. It is a sociological analysis with a literature point of view as well. The aim of the thesis is to show the evolution of the studies of the crowd and to analyse each aspects of the crowd (it's negative conotations, patology, collective soal, the leader of the crowd and psychological events like hypnosis, suggestion and identification). We try to reply to the question if the study of the crowd is valid also for current society.
