[cze][eng] Práce se zabývá bohem Týrem, germánskými mýty a náboženstvím. Je založena zejména na pramenné literature, kterou představuje mj. poetická Edda, Snorriho Edda a Tacitovy spisy. Diskutována jsou i další možná Týrova jména Irmin a Saxnôt, ale také Mars, jak ho nazývali Římané. Dále práce reší, které funkce Týrovi náleží. Jsou to funkce boha války, sněmu zvaného thing, práva a nebe. Nakonec se také řeší Týrova pozice v pantheonu. Zde jsou diskutovány teorie G. Dumézila a badatelky Lotte Motz.The work concerns god Tyr, Germanic myth and the religion. It is based on original sources, which is presented mainly Poetic Edda, Snorra Edda and writings of Tacitus. The other possible names of Tyr are discussed here. It is Irmin, Saxnôt and Mars, as he was called by Romans. Then the work concerns the functions of the god Tyr. His possible functions of god of war, the assembly called thing, right and sky are discussed here. Last part of the work speaks about Tyr position in the pantheon. The theories of Georges Dumézil and Lotte Motz are discussed here.
