Cílem této práce je přispět k procesu zefektivňování psychiatrické péče. Položila jsem si otázku, do jaké míry mladý člověk trpící psychotickým onemocněním vykazuje psychosociální potřeby, které jsou přirozené pro duševně zdravého jedince. Teoreticky jsem vyšla z koncepce lidského vývoje Erika Eriksona. Zajímalo mne, zda má pacient zájem a možnost osamostatnit se od primární rodiny, hledat si životního partnera a realizovat se v oblasti zaměstnání či zájmové činnosti. šetření se týkalo dvaceti lidí trpících psychotickým onemocněním, toho času hospitalizovaných na akutním oddělení psychiatrické léčebny v Bohnicích. Zdrojem šetření potřeb byl pacient, jeho významný druhý, ošetřující lékař a psychosociální pracovník. Data byla sbírána metodou dotazníku v kombinaci s nestandardizovaným rozhovorem. Vyhodnocením šetření jsem zjistila, že pacienti stáli o to hledat si životního partnera a realizovat se v životě. Ohledně osamostatnění od rodičů se objevily spíše ambivalentní postoje. Dále mne zajímalo, jakým způsobem mohly být naplňovány psychosociální potřeby zmíněných pacientů na akutním oddělení psychiatrické léčebny. Formou sběru informací byl rozhovor s vedoucím lékařem a pozorování chodu oddělení. Zjistila jsem, že nabídka služeb sice byla v souladu s potřebami pacientů, ale jejich kvalitu jsem nepovažovala... The goal of this study is to contribute in a process of psychiatrie care streamlining. I tried to acknowledge the extent to what a young psychotic patient can show out psychosocial needs inherent to a stable individual. Theoretically, the study is based on the Erik Erikson's concept of a human development. I was interested whether the patient is concerned and in a position to cut adrift from his prime family, to look for a fellow, and to fulfil himself in the realm of occupation. The inquiry was applied to twenty patients suffering from psychotic illness, contacted during their hospitalization at the acute care department of the mental hospital (PL Bohnice). Source of the examination was a patient, a significant other, an attending psychiatrist, and a psychosocial worker. Data were gleaned by methods of a questionnaire, and an interview. Based on the data obtained I have found out that patients were unambigously interested to have a fellow relationship, and to feel fulfilled in their lives. In respect of cutting adrift from prime family there appeared to be ambivalent attitudes. Then I was interested in the way psychosocial needs of the mentioned patients could be fulfilled at the acute department of the mental hospital.
