Metody LALLS a GFFF jsou použitelné pro detekci distribuce velikosti škrobových zrn v obilkách ječmene. Znalost distribuce velikosti škrobových zrn je důležité především v průběhu šlechtitelského procesu, ale také při výběru sladovnami preferovaných odrůd. LALLS and GFFF were used for determination size distribution of starch granules in cereal grains. Knowledge of distribution is important for breeders and malters.
