Záměrem tohoto příspěvku je přispět k diskusi nad využíváním mixed-methods výzkumu, tedy strategií, které zahrnují v různých obměnách kvalitativní i kvantitativní metody. V příspěvku budeme reflektovat některé související metodologické diskuse a uvedeme konkrétní problémy, se kterými jsme se setkali při realizaci dvou výzkumných projektů v oblasti studia organizací a organizačního chování. Goal of this presentation is to discuss possibilities of practical use of mixed-methods research design, so conducting a research project that would utilize both qualitative and quantitative approach and aim at their integration. We will reflect some relevant methodological discussions and share concrete examples of problems we have encountered during realization of two research projects that used mixed-methods design for studying organizations and organizational behavior.
