Expenditure comportment of magistrate's cities
LUKŠOVÁ, Petra
This diploma thesis is concerned with expenditure comportment of magistrate's cities. The main objective of this thesis was to examine the expenditure side of municipal budgets of cities of the Czech Republic. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and analytical part. The theoretical part describes the basic informations about municipal authorities, budget and budget's process. Next important part is about current and capital expenditure and overview of existing studies on magistrate's cities. Five cities were selected for analytical part. These cities were Olomouc, České Budějovice, Hradec Králové, Havířov and Kladno. The analytical part describes these cities and their budgets and current and cupital expenditures of these cities. The expenses were analyzed according to the sectoral classification. The expenses of these cities were also compared with the municipalities of the Czech Republic.

Overview Copulation Strategies of European Butterflies
Baráková, Kristýna ; Vrabec, Vladimír (advisor) ; Bubová, Terezie (referee)
Daily butterflies are a very varied and diverse group of the animal kingdom. They are insects with complete metamorphosis and a complex life cycle. Different stages of the development cycle are well known and studied. However, when it comes to the reproduction biology of daily butterflies, there are still a lot of question marks. This is why we decided to compile available information on reproduction strategies of European daily butterflies. This information was gathered by the means of strategically chosen keywords in scientific databases Web of Science (WOS), Scopus and Google Scholar. Based on these sources I compiled general information on reproduction behaviour of butterflies related to the complex processes before copulation, more concretely the mating and selection behaviour of daily butterflies. Consequently I describe concretely the copulation process, where I concentrate mainly on data on the progression of copulation, i.e. duration, minimum age or possible repeated copulation. I also explain general terms connected to copulation, such as paternity or protandry. The following part of the thesis concentrates specifically on copulation strategies of European daily butterflies. For the majority of butterflies I gathered data on mating strategies before copulation, specifically on how males search for females. Furthermore, for som e butterflies I add comprehensive data on duration of copulation, minimum age for copulation or possible repeated copulation. However, the gathered data do not provide sufficient information on the stated topic. It was therefore impossible to realize a statistical evaluation, which was supposed to lead to a recount against the total number of European butterflies. The hypothesis, namely that the vast majority of daily butterflies does not show promiscuous behaviour and copulates only once, has not been affirmed, neither disproven. Scientific publications only scarcely provided concrete information on promiscuous behaviour of daily butterflies. A research on this behaviour would require a more thorough examination. But it would enable us to organize accessible data on butterflies in the Czech Republic.

Economic Rights to Results of Scientific Research and Making the Results Available to the Public
Šavelka, Jaromír
The contribution provides a general overview of economic rights that arise in connection to the results of scientific research with particular emphasis given to the possibilities of making the results accessible to the public. The introductory part consists of a brief survey of the economic rights that are applicable to the results of scientific research and deliberates who are the persons entitled to those rights given the different situations. Consequently, barriers that may prevent one from making the results available to the public are elaborated on. The main part deals with recommendations on the subject of avoiding these barriers in order to be able to make the results available to the public in absence of third parties' rights violation.

The explanatory power of the financial statements of the selected company.
ŠVECOVÁ, Vladislava
The objective of the Bachelor thesis is an assessment of the explanatory power of the financial situation of the company TIMAC AGRO CZECH s.r.o. The theoretical part deals with the content, structure and meaning of the individual financial statements. Also contains an overview of the basic techniques of financial analysis with a focus on ratio indicators and analysis of these indicators. In the practical part is first presented to the analysed company. The next part is devoted to the financial analysis for the period 2010 - 2011. The ratios were the profitability indicators applied, activities, indebtedness and liqutidy. A summary assessment of the health of the analysis of the company is in this part of the Bachelor thesis also used Altman Z-score. The final section is devoted to the evaluation of the results of financial analyses and specific recommendations and the influence of presentation of the individual items on the results of the financial analysis.

Overview of methods used in plant physiology for primary and secondary compounds estimation
Dlouhý, Lukáš ; Tomášková, Ivana (advisor) ; Čepl, Jaroslav (referee)
This bachelor thesis aims to summarize methods used to prove and isolation substances of primary and secondary metabolism of plants. In introduction I described metabolit path ways leading to creation of metabolites and introduced their definitions. In next chapters I pursued closer description of each group and sub-group of metabolites and specified options of their qualitative analysis. In last part I continued to outline issues of separation methods, instrumental analysis and finaly to experiments. In conclusion I summarized obtained information generaled comparison of each method or their groups. I estimated the trend of analysis for trees and plants.

Results of Czech part of International SAHA Project I.: Descriptive analysis of risky behaviors and risk and protective factors of development of youth from urban areas.
Blatný, Marek ; Hrdlička, M. ; Květon, Petr ; Vobořil, Dalibor ; Jelínek, Martin
Report gives detailed description of risky behaviors and both risk and protective factors of development of youth from urban areas. Research was carried out with the national representative sample of adolescents (4.980 participants) in three age cohorts (12, 14, and 16-y-o) in the capital Prague and twelve regional capitols. Report gives overview for total sample.

Microalgal Growth Problem for the Photosynthetitc Factory and its Optimization: An Overview and Further Analysis
Čelikovský, Sergej
The overview of the micro-algal growth problem for the photosynthetic factory and its optimal control solution is presented here. First, the model description and its properties like Haldan steady state dynamics, light integration property and the forward invariance of the set of biologically well-de ned states are described. This shows that the model meets basic experimentally based requirements. Further, its optimal control problem is formulated and solved analytically for the one dimensional singular perturbation based reduction. Properties of the optimal control for the reduced model are discussed and compared with some experimental observations. Among them, the general biotechnological paradigm that on large time intervals the optimal solution is, in certain sense, almost constant, is substantiated. As a new original result of this paper, the explicit solvable di erentiable equation for the unsaturated part of the optimal control is derived.

Compound Adjectives in Bohemian Minor Place-Names
Štěpán, Pavel
The article provides an overview of formation of compound adjectives occurring in Bohemian minor place names. A majority of the analysed adjectives are a result of the complex compound-derivative formation; the adjectives formed by the proper composition are less frequent.

Principles of cultivation and possibilities of utilization of Miscanthus
Strašil, Zdeněk
Methodics is based on own and external experience with growing of miscanthus. Methodics presents overview on botanical characteristics of the plant, requiremenf of the plant on site conditions, farming techniques including fertilization, crop establishment, plant protection till harvest and postharvest treatment. The survey of main possibilities of utilization of miscanthus is presented.
