Thermophilic microorganisms

This bachelor’s thesis is focused on distribution thermophilic species from among microorganisms, characteristic important genera, in which these microorganisms we can find and detailed description choice species. There is described origin of thermal environment and locations of habitation thermophilic microorganisms with intention on geothermal areas, where is found the biggest number of these species. In consequence of thermal stability of enzymes these microorganisms are used in food industry, in waste treatment, in medicine and for their production of thermostabile enzymes.
The technology of cultivation and fertilization hemp (Cannabis) and ways of utilization

Contemporary is Hemp (Cannabis sativa L.) considered as a very promising plant whose parts can be used almost completely. Hemp is grown especially for fiber and seed. The plant is good biodegradable, so it causes no problems with waste disposal. The root system is deep and loosens the soil and prevents erosion. Hemp accumulate heavy metals from contaminated soils.To achieve the economic benefit are suitable fertile , deep soils with good nutrient supply and neutral or slightly alkaline reaction. Average seed yield in the Czech Republic is 0.6 t ha-1 and 6-7 t ha-1 stem. This study focuses on summarizing information about the cultivation, fertilization and the possibilities of using hemp.The first part is devoted to the origin, botanical characteristics, morphology and anatomy and principles of cultivation. The second part deals with the chemical composition, effective substances and use of cannabis in various industries. In this work was proposed five years crop rotation period for a variety Bialobrzeskie, grown for seed and stem. Than were selected pre-crops suitable for business without animal production and determined doses of nitrogen, phosphorous, potassium and magnesium fertilizers and suitable harvest mechanization.
The Economic potential of immovable industrial heritage and its utilization

The focus of this bachelor thesis is on the current topic of the utilization of immovable industrial monuments in the Czech Republic. The aim of this work is a detailed analysis and evaluation of the condition and the utilization of these industrial monuments in the Czech Republic. The foundation of this work is a theoretical definition, categorization and separation of industrial buildings. Furthermore the exploration of history, present status and extent of the industrial heritage in the Czech Republic as well as its cultural heritage protection. Eventually the research will present the economic potential and possibilities of new utilization of these industrial monuments in general and also in detail using specific examples. An integral part of this research will be application of this theme on specific immovable industrial monument. This will be completed with regards to assessment of its condition and utilization of all obtained findings from already revitalized industrial buildings.

The topic of the thesis deals with the use of less cultivated fruit species for processing. There were three kinds of fruit processing jujube (Ziziphus jujuba), elderberry (Sambucus nigra) and sea buckthorn (Hippophae rhamnoides). Ziziphus jujube fruit species was processed into jujube jam, compote of dried jujube and jujube . The sea buckthorn (Hippophae rhamnoides) was served in prodicts of sea buckthorn juice, syrup of buckthorn, sea buckthorn jam and cakes from sea buckthorn. Elderberry products (Sambucus nigra) which were served during the tasting were Elder juice and broth of black elderberries. Products rated on a tasting achieve successful evaluation and are suitable for both domestic and industrial use. For the content of the substance are also recommended in medicine.

This bachelor work focuses on the uses of genus Lonicera L. in garden and landscape formation. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first section contains a description of the genus and evaluation of information sources. The second part is more extensive and consists of three fractional parts. Evaluation of selected species of the genus Lonicera L. terms of important characters, ecological requirements and use. There is also a section dealing with methods of propagation representatives of this genus. And the last part is the evaluation of the offer of garden nurseries in the Czech Republic.

This Bachelor's assignment discusses growing and the use of hemp (Cannabis sativa L.). The part of this assignment is devoted to taxonomical categorization of sowed hemp and its characteristics. This assignment in detail characterizes individual parts of the plant as well as the composition as a whole. It also includes a brief summary of different types of use of hemp products. The second part of this assignment describes ecological needs of growing hemp and its harvest in both, natural and man-made, environments, as well as the characteristics of its significant varieties. In the practical section, a research of the Czech market took place, which provided us with a summary of all available products made from hemp from the food industry and pharmaceutical industry perspectives. In the discussion, this assignment tries to evaluate current situation and a possible additional development regarding growing and use of hemp in the Czech Republic.
Využití střevličky východní (Pseudorasbora parva) jako potravní ryby a možnosti jejího řízeného chovu

Stone moroco (Pseudorasbora parva) is an unoriginal fish species in our territory which could be considered as invasion. Despite the fact it leads to its use as well. The bachelor thesis summarizes data on its biology, expansion, occurence and a possibility of its elimination. The next part describes and evaluates its reproductive potential. Furthermore, there was done a summary of works dealing with predators feeding selectivity with respect to the use of stone moroco. By these works, the priority intake of stone maroco over other fish was confirmed. Its use was subsequently shown by information from fishing companies where it is actively used as food for predatory fish species.

This work is about renewable sources of electricity. It discusses the particular characteristics and possibilities of current and future use of the most basic renewable energy sources. The work includes a basic explanation of the historical development and use of the energy potential of water, wind, solar and biomass. There is also included information about the early days of electricity, the most important personalities of these resources, their advantages and disadvantages compared with the fossil fuels. A separate chapter is devoted to the discussion of the necessary legal steps related to the current applicable legislation.

The bachelor thesis is focused on breeding collies in the Czech Republic. The first part is focused on the history of the breed in the world and history of the breed in this country. There is described the breed standard, exploitation of the breed and conditions for breeding. The next section describes the tests according to the National Examination Regulations, which collie can pass. Furthermore, bachelor thesis is focused on the allowed coloring of the breed and their genetics. It also describes the most common diseases and at the last section it presents the number of born dogs in a particular year and the number of dogs enrolled to the breeding.
Cultivation of hops (Humulus lupulus L.) and its use

Hop differs from other agricultural plants in view of the fact that it is a perennial plant. It can grow at one site up to 20 years. There are three recognized hop production areas in the Czech Republic such as Žatecko, Úštecko and Tršice. The quality of the cones is high mainly due to the range of plant variety and also due to the favourable environmental conditions. Hop cultivation technology was already explored a long time ago, and therefore the new resources are rarely available and also widely scattered. The aim of this thesis is to describe the hops cultivation technology and its food and non-food utilization. This work includes botanical characteristics, farming techniques, fertilization, and protection against pests, harvest and post-harvest treatment. Furthermore there is description of the influence of agricultural engineering or fertilization on quality of hops. This bachelors thesis also depicts food and non-food use of hops.
