Design a reliable data infrastructure in a multi-branch company
Dočekal, Filip ; Kříž, Jiří (referee) ; Ondrák, Viktor (advisor)
The master’s thesis is focused on a functional suggestion of a data infrastructure in a company with more branches. It analyses the present condition of the data infrastructure and it is based on an analysis and there is an own solution implemented. The solution must be functional, and it must match the requirements discussed with the investor.
Storage of natural gas in hydrates
Petr, Jan ; Brázdil, Marian (referee) ; Pospíšil, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with storage of natural gas in hydrates, forming of hydrate, its transportation and storage. Within the calculation part, three hydrate forming reactors are compared. According to the paramters used in the calculations, a reactor is designed. Basic drawing documentation is also available. The final calculations focus on the nominal evaporation of the storage tank.
Analysis of material flow and level of inventory between production sections in time
Lanzendörfer, Tomáš ; Hloska, Jiří (referee) ; Hloušek, David (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis deals with an analysis of material flow between manufacturing sectors connected by an intervening storage. The first part is focused on detailed analysis of logistics and inventory theory. The second part is focused on a simulation model creation. The simulations are realized in Tecnomatix Plant Simulation software, developed by the Siemens company. At the end of the thesis there is a conclusion of the analyses.
Proposal of Material Flow Changes with Respect to Production Process
Koláčková, Veronika ; MBA, Martin Mlčák, (referee) ; Jurová, Marie (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with optimization of material flows in the company Pamet spol. s r. o. The thesis is divided into four parts. The first part describes the company business, its production program, customers, suppliers and competitors. The second part is theoretical, it contains an explanation of theoretical concepts that are taken into account wile writing this thesis. The third part analyzes the purchase, supplier evaluation and storing in the company. The final part brings suggestions how to solve the problems identified in the analytical part.
Electronic signature in practice
Miška, Matěj ; Burda, Karel (referee) ; Člupek, Vlastimil (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with the creation and development of a system for management and security of digital certificates used for signing documents. The application created in this thesis is conceptualised as a console application used from command line of a system. This solution is justified by the possibility of being continued as a graphic user interface extension or adopted by another application. The application allows for the creation of a user account, through which a person can import their certificates with passwords into the application and subsequently use the certificates in signing PDF documents or PNG files. Algorithms ensuring the security of saved data are implemented by the application. The theoretical part of this thesis analyzes the creation and work with certificates and signature keys in real life, including the creation of own self-signed certificate. The theoretical part concludes with the testing of usage of the certificates.

Decentralized Web-based Data Storage for LinkedPipes Applications using Solid
Orumbayev, Altynbek ; Klímek, Jakub (advisor) ; Škoda, Petr (referee)
The following thesis work is focused on developing a decentralized web-based storage solution based on Solid project for the LinkedPipes Applica- tions platform and demonstrate the full benefits of decentralized storage and the Solid technology. The Solid project, started by Sir Tim Berners-Lee, is focused on decentralizing the World Wide Web and decoupling data from applications on the Internet. The results of the practical work satisfy all defined functional and non-functional requirements stated by the LinkedPipes Applications project. The results of the work are integrated into the LinkedPipes Applications platform as a set of several software libraries allowing interaction with Solid Servers. iv
Business Plan: Software Development
Machová, Dominika ; Staněk, Jiří (referee) ; Luňáček, Jiří (advisor)
The final thesis deals with the process of designing a web application for companies that have multiple branches in order to simplify the system of storage and distribution of inventory. The bachelor thesis contains a description of project planning, but also anticipated revenues and expenditures connected with software creation. An integral part is the use of available analyzes to identify aspects that may affect the current or future course of the project.
INFLUENCE OF GRAPHITE UPON THE KINETICS OF HYDROGEN SORPTION IN Mg@Mg17Al12
Čermák, Jiří ; Král, Lubomír ; Roupcová, Pavla
Influence of graphite addition to the ball-milling charge composed of Mg splinters and Mg17Al12 particles upon the hydrogen sorption was investigated at sorption temperature 623 K. Measurements were carried out by Sieverts method. Graphite facilitates the ball-milling: It prevents re-agglomeration of crushed particles into large secondary particles. It also suppresses sticking the milled material to the balls and walls of the milling jar. It was found that an increase of carbon concentration up to a certain limit c(L) lying between 14 and 23 wt. % C, carbon increases both the absorption and the desorption rates and hydrogen storage capacity. Above c(L), carbon causes a considerable decrease in HS capacity, which spoils the application potential of Mg@Mg17Al12/C. Crystallite size of the material under study, obtained by XRD, is in the order of tens of nm.
Data Backup and Data Storages
Šlemenda, David ; Luhan, Jan (referee) ; Kříž, Jiří (advisor)
Bachelor’s thesis is based on backing up data and data storages. Situations are described here which are closely related to backing up data in a specific manufacturing company. Based on analysis of stated company are found shortcomings and more effective and safer way of backing up data is proposed.
