Characterization and application of zwitterionic stationary phases in HPLC
Machová, Dominika ; Kalíková, Květa (advisor) ; Kubíčková, Anna (referee)
This diploma thesis deals with the characterization and comparison of two zwitterionic stationary phases of SeQuant ZIC-HILIC and Atlantis Premier BEH Z-HILIC columns. Analyses were performed in the hydrophilic interaction liquid chromatography (HILIC) separation mode. The ligand bound to both stationary phases of these columns is identical, sulfoalkylbetaine. The main difference between these stationary phases is in the particles to which the ligands are bound. The type of the particles significantly contributes to different interaction and separation properties of the stationary phases. Firstly, for the basic characterization of these stationary phases, a Tanaka's test was performed. The results of this test showed that the SeQuant ZIC-HILIC column has greater cation-exchange properties than the Atlantis Premier BEH Z-HILIC column, which, has on the other hand greater anion-exchange properties. Both stationary phases showed a higher value of the parameter describing hydrophilicity than hydrophobicity, confirming their polar nature. The properties of the stationary phases were further examined and compared based on the analysis of model analytes. These analytes included a range of small polar analytes, acids, bases, ampholytes, neutral analytes, and their mixtures. Analyses were performed at...
Design of a Cultural Assimilator as a Tool for the Development of Intercultural Competence of Foreign Students and Employees in Brno University of Technology.
Machová, Dominika ; Surá, Andrea (referee) ; Konečná, Zdeňka (advisor)
The final thesis deals with the creation of a cultural assimilator designed for foreign students and workers who have chosen to work or study at BUT. At the same time, it deals with the improvement of already existing processes of adaptation, information and integration of the assimilator into these processes. The diploma thesis includes an analysis of the current state, respectively tools and materials for adaptation, which BUT currently uses. The proposed concept can be used for the integration of foreign students and staff into the university environment.
Business Plan: Software Development
Machová, Dominika ; Součková, Markéta (referee) ; Heralecký, Tomáš (advisor)
The final thesis deals with the creation of a web application for companies that have more branches to simplify the storage and distribution system. The bachelor thesis contains a description of the planning and implementation of the project, but also the predictable income and expenses associated with the creation of the software. An integral part is the use of available analyzes to identify aspects that may affect the current or future course of the project.
Business Plan: Software Development
Machová, Dominika ; Staněk, Jiří (referee) ; Luňáček, Jiří (advisor)
The final thesis deals with the process of designing a web application for companies that have multiple branches in order to simplify the system of storage and distribution of inventory. The bachelor thesis contains a description of project planning, but also anticipated revenues and expenditures connected with software creation. An integral part is the use of available analyzes to identify aspects that may affect the current or future course of the project.
Medieval society in Tales of Count Lucanor
Machová, Dominika ; Sánchez Fernández, Juan Antonio (advisor) ; Housková, Anna (referee)
