The bachelor's thesis deals with caregivers who take care of their loved ones. About your children, parents or partners. It shows what options caregivers have. The aim of the bachelor's thesis is understand the issues and the burden of caregivers in the home environment. The goal is to find out what services caregivers use, or why they don´t use them. And what services would they possibly use. Whether these social services meet the needs of families. The research was done through semi-structured interviews with caregivers from the small town named Votice.
Student with depression: the perspective of a close person

This thesis focuses on students with depression and their close persons. The aim of this thesis is to map various aspects of coexistence with a student suffering from depression. It uses the perspective of these close persons, whose support of students with depression is essential. The teoretical part deals with defining the concept of depression using a historical perspective and the perspective of diagnostic manuals. It also focuses on various aspects of depressive illnesses, including their impact on life of the individual. The last chapter of the theoretical part then deals with coping and coping strategies. The empirical part of this paper tries to map different strategies of support for a student with depression, which close people tend to choose. In the case of depression, as a very serious illness, it can also be assumed that the psychological state of these close ones will be affected. Following this assumption, this work also tries to map the coping strategies that close persons use to support their own mental health. A qualitative methodology was chosen to attain the research objectives. Theoretical part deals with the characteristics of strokes, risk factors, prevention, symptoms and treatment of ict. It also deals about the consequences rehabilitation of patients after stroke. The thought of how ictus affects and change existing behavior of person, who was affected, but also how affected close persons. Also describes options of formal support, social services, contributions and organizations, which helps to people after CMP. Compensation for a non-pecuniary harm of secondary victims

This final thesis "Compensation for a non-pecuniary harm of secondary victims" deals with the issue of secondary victims. A secondary victim is defined as an injured person who suffered a non-pecuniary harm as a consequence of what happened to another person (primary victim) to which the tortfeasor caused imminent harm. I focused exclusively on secondary victims under the section 2959 of Czech Civil Code. The section 2959 of Czech Civil Code enables secondary victims to require a monetary compensation for the harm which they suffered as a consequence of a death or a serious injury of their close person (primary victim). Within the analysis of section 2959 of Czech Civil Code I described the nature of a harm suffered by the primary victim, the circle of eligible secondary victims and the quality of their harm, as well as the extent of the compensation for the harm of secondary victims. Doing so, I used the comparative method. I compared the legal regulation of the Czech Civil Code with the former Czech regulation and corresponding decisions of Czech courts. For the purposes of international comparison, each chapter includes a part of the legal situation of secondary victim (close person) under the Austrian law. Psychological aspects of care for the elderly

This thesis deals with psychological aspects of elderly care during the last phase of life. It focuses on caring professionals and caring laymen. The theoretical part of the thesis describes physiological ageing and particular psychological aspects, which can occur during elderly care in the last phase of life. The practical part of the thesis contains short statements of caring professionals and caring laymen, who have experience with elderly care. The thesis occupies with negative feelings and states, that may occur in caring professionals and caring laymen and can lead to burnout syndrome.
Depression from the prespective of close person

This thesis deals with depression and how illness perceive and experience a close person of people with depression. The theoretical part summarizes current knowledge about depression itself. It will also describe coexistence with people suffering from depression from perspective of partner or family member. One section focuses on access to person diagnosed with depression. The practical part will include qualitative research, which will be conducted through semistructured in-depth interviews . Depth discussions will provide persons who are in close relationship with depressive person. Research will focus on whether and how are their lives affected by living in such a situation.
A Man during a Loss of a Close Person, Pedagogic Approach and Prevention

The work deals with the issue of a loss of a close person. The theoretical part describes several attitudes towards death, different views of death, the loss of a close person and the process of coping. The work also mentions several ways of how to help and pedagogic approach towards children that encountered death. The practical part consists of a quality survey in the form of controlled conversations. The conversations were conducted with people that experienced death of a close person in their childhood. This section also contains a suggestion for an appropriate approach to help these children to overcome the loss. Aducational approach trying to make the issue of death more accesible for children not yet affected with the loss is included. The suggested solutions are for children of the early, middle school age and for adolescents are dealt with separately.
