The Use of Artificial Intelligence to Reduce Risk in the Company

The diploma thesis deals with the analysis and subsequent evaluation of selected commercial vehicle models from individual manufacturers, using artificial intelligence methods. The introductory chapters focus on the basics of risk science, fuzzy logic and software tools, their purpose is to acquaint readers with the issues addressed. The analytical part of the work contains a description of the selected company and also an introduction of specific suppliers. The main part contains decision criteria for the selection and also a description of the actual solution of the assignment. More specifically, two decision models based on fuzzy logic, which were created using MS Excel and MATLAB. In the end, the results from both models are compared, including the interpretation of the obtained results.

The bachelor's thesis addresses the development of business activities of a company that provides sport fishing and operates a restaurant that serves as a background for fishermen. The theoretical basis is based on analyzes of the external environment, internal environment and analysis of the field environment. The results of the analyzes will be summarized in a SWOT analysis. All analyzes will help determine the company's position in the market and recommend proposals for the development of further business activities.
Project Proposal of the Robotic Café Founding

The bachelor thesis focuses on the use of project management tools and methods for the implementation of a new project. The methods and tools used are theoretically described in the first part of the thesis and then practically used during the analysis of the current state of the company and also in the design part. The selected methods and tools are put into practice in the three phases of the project life cycle. The analysis of the current state represents the pre-design part of the work including the marketing of the project. The design part of the thesis is devoted to project initiation and planning. The output of this bachelor thesis is a fully developed project proposal, according to which the actual project implementation can be started within the planned timeframe.

The bachelor thesis deals with the insurance protection of a selected business entity. Based on the risk analysis, the risks that can endanger the selected company are chosen. According to the current offer on the Czech insurance market, an optimal insurance protection is determined and compared to the present one. Subsequently, recommendations are proposed for the selected company.

The master thesis deals with the issue of risk management in a selected business entity. The subject of the research is the risk of the selected entity. The object of the research is company named Master Fitness. Main focus of the company is to provide physical education and sport services. The thesis also focus more on theoretical background of risk management, identification, analysis and evaluation of risks using qualitative or semi-quantitative methods. The conclusion of the work contains suggestions for measures that lead to the reduction of risks and improvement of the identified situation.
Risk Analysis of Self-Driven Vehicles

The goal of this thesis was to design and implement system for risk analysis in self-driving cars. This thesis focused on design and implementation of system for risk analysis in models. One of the requirements for the system was to be flexible and robust. Design of the risk analysis was presented at theoretical level and then implemented in models of ABS and ESP systems in UPPAAL environment. The system was then tested via multiple experiments. The experiments were beneficial and the system for risk analysis correctly evaluated failure scenarios with adequate response to the rising level of risk. Experiment outputs were then presented at graphs with comment to each failure scenario.
Design of belt grinder

This Master’s thesis concerns the construction of Belt Grinder. The research part deals with types of designs used in Belt Grinders, grinding technology and analysis of grinding/sanding belts which are used for grinding. With use of qualitative methods as Fault Tree Analysis and Quality Function Deployment, the whole topic is taken apart in more detail, so the topic of Belt Grinder is easier to understand. In the next part of the work, the necessary parameters are calculated and then the construction of a Belt grinder for flat surfaces and rounded grinding are modeled. This is followed by a risk assessment analysis, including forms for estimating and subsequently proposing measures to reduce these risks. Part of the work is also the technical and economic evaluation and estimated costs for the implementation of proposed structure.

The bachelor‘s thesis approaches the use of project management methods in practice, specifically in the implementation of a new information system in a church non-profit organization. The introductory part is devoted to the theoretical basis of the thesis, which are then used in the practical section. The analytical section deals with the current project management of the organization and some of the analyzes used in the pre-project phase of the project. The analytical part is followed by the practical section, which draws on the performed analyzes and used methods and submits a proposal for the solution of project management applicable in the future.
