Public space use in a part of Vítězné náměstí in Prague

The bachelor thesis is focused on observation and evaluation of the using public space. Main part of the Vítězné náměstí infront of General building and also near of Dejvická street in Prague - specifically part of the Prague called Dejvice.
The thesis examines what activities are represented in part of Vítězné náměstí. In this thesis is description of the places, where are these activities done - around Vítězné náměstí and indicate where the most frequent movement of people in this area.
The thesis focused were for the influence of these factors, the possibielities of using these spaces. These data is collection with two metods. First method what was used was picking of time and the second one by drawing in a cartogram.
Data was processeded then created into the graph. From these charts was later made the conclusion determined factors of the impact use these public spaces.

Residentail developable areas in municipalities with low levels of development activity in the district of municipality with extended competence Sokolov

The aim of this work is to examine the quality of buildable delimitation of areas for housing development in the context of population and the subsequent unfolding of the territorial community development. The monitored area is located in Karlovy Vary Region in the administrative territory of the municipality with extended powers Sokolov. Data were used from the Czech Statistical Office, from territorial analytical data and data from local plans. From these sources were identified buildable areas in this area and. It has been identified villages Nová Ves, Josefov, Šabina, Rovná, Krajková, Habartov. These municipalities are further characterized and quantified by total volume buildable areas and their long term usage. Throughout the administrative territory it was carried out a survey in which respondents were included as representatives and officials of municipalities with valid land use plan. Based on the results of the survey are defined problems and negative effects associated with long-unused locations buildable areas. The basic principles of solution to the formulation of recommendations for the representatives of municipalities and planners in defining buildable areas in the planning documentation. They consist mainly in the processing of the detailed design territory. As a possible solution is provided through a legislative process, which is for representatives of municipalities a way out of this negative state.

Redevelopment study for brownfield of Rukavičkářské závody in Dobříš

The topic of this bachelor thesis is redevelopment study for brownfield of Rukavičkářské závody and near surroundings in Dobříš. The study is composed from the three parts. The theoretical part deals with problems of the brownfields, functions built-up areas and arrangement infrastructures.
The second part of this thesis deals with analyzes this territory, that are important for creation of the study. In the end of this chapter were determinated the problems and values of this territory.
On the base of the analytic results and theoretical principles is suggested resolution. The result of this study is master plan of the mixed living area with good interconnection the surrounding areas and town center.

Development scenarios of the town Šumperk

Thesis is focused on the future possibilities of industrial town Šumperk. The main problem of this town is the departure of young generation which causes the lack of qualified workforce. The result of the thesis is making some future variants. They are made by exploratory development scenarios. According the thematic analysis focused on structure and character of the town we identified the driving powers which might affect the town in its future. In this case the driving powers are the automation and return of the natives. The exploratory scenarios can make an important part for making strategic plan for town Šumperk. These results can be inspirational for the similar industrial towns where is the same problem with lack of the qualified workforce. There is a need to create conditions and measures which can lead to positive development. It helps to imagine the town structure after a few years so we can reduce the impact of threats or use the offered opportunities.

Study of science park localization options in NE part of Kladno

Bachelor thesis is focused on the study possibilities of locating science and technology park in the northeastern part of Kladno. This is a conceptual study to the possibility of finding the ideal location for science and technology park. The work is divided into three basic parts. The introductory part, the literature review is devoted to the issue of brownfields, the importance of innovation in regional development and scientific and technological parks, their division in our country and abroad, and analysis of examples of existing science parks.
Analytical part analyzes the studied area in terms of broader relations, historical development, functional, transport and space utilization. The output of the analytical part is drawing issues and values. Forms part of the work is focused on the three main variants of concepts solutions that differ from each proposed feature parks and its location in the investigated area.

Strategy proposal for the town Hořovice

This thesis deals with an industrial city of Hořovice which is situated in an area of frequent inner outskirts. The crucial subject is a proposal of the most suitable strategy of development for this city. The purpose of this is to strengthen an influence of the city on the region and to avoid its transformation on the inner outskirts. The strategy proceeds from 4 descriptive (or also explorative) scripts of possible future which describe directions of potential development and are identified on the basis of territorial analyses. These analyses are based on the combination of two main factors which are the most influential for the future development of the city. It includes situation in industry (especially car industry) and social coherence (incoherence) of population.
The outcome of this thesis is a proposal of development strategy which is focused on augmentation of industrial heterogeneity and reduction of necessity of individual motor transport by creating city of short distances.

Accessibility to healthcare in Karlovarský kraj

This thesis is focused on the assessment of health care in the Karlovy Vary region in terms of availability of hospital equipment. Healthcare in the Czech Republic is undergoing fundamental changes, which primarily related to the aging population, the increasing prevalence of chronic diseases and the related changes in the status of patients with pressure on public budgets. This leads to increased costs, which burdens the economy of hospitals, but also the entire health system. Health care providers and insurance companies must prepare for the increasing number of elderly and chronically ill population and the associated increasing health spending. Health expenditures are growing everywhere in the world and the main problem is mainly a lack of health care finance and skilled health workers. Investments in health and education and research among the most efficient yet. Indeed, only healthy people can work, create value and pay taxes. These problems have a long-term trend of continuous decline in the capacity of acute care. Healthcare fulfill a social function and stabilizing the company, but may also be the engine of the economy that is a major employer and purchaser of goods and services. Investigations in health care is possible, but only with negative effects on patients. Deficient management system can hardly continue. Professionals who deal with this issue, for several years calling for a detailed analysis of the availability of health services, and after a hierarchical structure of the state-controlled network of inpatient health care facilities. Without the political will and will not elaborate procedures to reform or to improve the effectiveness and efficiency in health care at any level.

Potentially problematic development in the Praha - východ district

Prague hinterland is in last years under suburbanization's pressure, where villages are developing. These villages are trying to react on the pressure with demarcation of new develop areas which are not always developing by ideas. There were done lots of works on the problems with inccorect planing of new areas. This work is focused on identification potencial and problematic developing, which was created as result of territorial development in Prague east. The objective is analyzing and evaluate causations of not started builds in problematic development.
With the use of orthophotos, from ČÚZK, has been identified 25 areas. Based on a comparison of aerial photographs from the years 2003, 2006, 2012, 2015, of Mapy.cz, and analysis of local plans, were excluded 12 localities. In the remaining areas was analyzed ownerships of land and problems were discussed with the leadership of villages.
As the main cause of the problematic areas was inadequate infrastructure, ownerships of land and lack of funds for the realization of planned projects.

Study of Pujmanové street at Pankrác II housing estate

My bachelor degree is focused on elaboration of territorial study for a public space of one part of street "Pujmanove". The theoretical part of my work specializes in the issue of a public space from the point of view of the ecosystem-established measures in a change of climate, hierarchy of a public space and related differences in their role, human senses and analysis of relevant public space. The territorial study was based upon the theoretical and analytical part. Drafted territorial study of the solved area is complementing - from the perspective of the traffic - interior communication in the housing estate Děkanka, supports values of the area and the draft of the parking route
