Avarian decorative motifs in Avar Khaganat Period and their transformation in Great Moravian epoch.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to systematically catalogue main avar decorative motifs, record their development during Great Moravian period and sketch their ties to near-eastern and mediterrean cultures. The basis of this work lies in a catalogue of 10 avar cemeteries, subsequently on the basis of their fund are figured out main categories and subtypes of decorative motifs on avar artifacts. These motifs are in the next part described in detail and compared with parallels belonging to the Great Moravian cultural background. Finally we will focus on symbolism of chosen motifs, try to interpret them and also suggest where the debated motifs originated from. Methodology of gait school of a patient with transtibial amputation

Title: Methodology of gait school of a patient with transtibial amputation Objectives: The main objective of this thesis is to give a comprehensive overview of methodology of the gait school from the prosthetic and rehabilitation care perspective of patient with transtibial amputation. This work includes the methods, procedures and practices to ensure successful work with the patient and their return and participation in everyday life. Methods: A qualitative research was used together with method of data collection, informal interview with an expert and participating observation. Results: The methodology of gait school is necessary for proper use and wearing prosthetic device. It positively influences the life of a patient with a transtibial amputation. In conclusion of this thesis is proven the crucial importance of starting with the methodology of gait school as soon as possible. Syllable Segmentation of French as Perceived by Czech Speakers

Title of the thesis: Syllable Segmentation of French as Perceived by Czech Speakers Keywords: Phonetics, Phonology, Syllable, Syllable Segmentation, French, Czech Abstract: The study entitled Syllable Segmentation of French as Perceived by Czech Speakers, is concerned with the difference of syllable segmentation in French and in Czech. The aim of the thesis is to find out to what degree the Czech speaker's ability to segment syllables in French is influenced by his mother tongue. To answer this question various methodologic procedures are employed: observation, then comparison of Czech and French theory books which allow forming the hypothesis. Subsequently, the hypothesis is verified in a quality based research which examines the pronunciation of Czech speakers reading a text. Their syllable segmentation is analyzed and evaluated. The thesis is divided into seven parts: Introduction, 1. Description of the basic rules of the Czech syllable, 2. Description of the basic rules of the French syllable, 3. Hypothesis, 4. Presentation and description of the analyzed material, 5. Analysis of the syllable segmentation, Conclusion.
