Gallery as an educational space for preschool children - reflection and inspiration

The theoretical part of the bachelor's thesis is devoted to the characteristics of the preschool child and his development of children's artistic expression in the modernist concept of art education. It presents different views on the child's view of the "little artist" and looks for the relationship between art education in kindergarten and art in the gallery. It also discusses the issue of the typology of exhibition spaces in the gallery and the gallery as a space for the preschool child and the kindergarten. The practical part is realized through a didactic project with preschool children. The first part of the project focuses on a visit to three galleries with exhibitions. The second part explores and describes the children's response to the exhibitions visited in the form of preparing the children's work for their own exhibition, subtitled Exhibition through Play. The project concludes with a public exhibition opening and a final visit by the preschool children to their exhibition. At the end, the project is evaluated. Teaching literature in genre-thematic units at the ISCED level in the context of an alternative study programme

This thesis, entitled A case study: the teaching of literature in genre-themed units at the ISCED 3 level in the context of an alternative study program, focuses on a, in our environment, non-traditional approach to teaching literature in high schools, based on a unique study program. The thesis consists of two parts - a theoretical part and an empirical part. The theoretical part includes the definition of the term "literary education" along with its insertion into the context of the educational plan outline for high schools. Furthermore, the definition of the term "alternative schooling" is given, and the terms that are subsequently used in the empirical part - reading and reading literacy, formative assessment, Content and Language Integrated Learning, and tandem teaching - are also defined. Finally, the period of adolescence is described, with an emphasis on the psychological and social characteristics of an individual. The aim of the empirical part was to describe how teaching takes place in an alternative study program at the ISCED 3 level, with an emphasis on the teaching of literature arranged into genre-themed units. This bachelor thesis is focused on marketing communication of technological conferences. The goal is to choose and evaluate the suitability of the tools for communication mix used by propagation of a technological conference. In the theoretical part the terms like event marketing and event, marketing communication and communication mix specifically applied on the events are defined. Practical part is focused on a specific technological conference and also on the analysis of the marketing communication tools used in this conference. The outcome is the recommendation for the specific tools of the communication mix useable in the next years for the organizers of the conference.

Discount Portals in The Hospitality Industry

This thesis deals with discount portals. The offer of terms that appear on the discount portal is very large,that´s why it has been narrowed down to only the restaurants.
The main objective is to define common and differing requirements (expectations) of discounts from customers who purchased discount vouchers and discounts from providers, which are, in the context of this thesis, restaurants. The thesis includes first introduction to the concepts of marketing to customers online.
Next, the central issue is the concept of discount portals. The practical part is an analysis of questionnaires from customers' discount portals and interviews with providers of discount offers. This is focused on restaurants that offer discounts compared to customers who buy the discount vouchers.
Finally, a comparison and contrast is made for the requirements of both parties. These results can serve in particular, to help new restaurateurs decide whether to offer discount portals and realize what to expect from it. This thesis can also serve permanent restaurant operators who are already on discount portals and act in their best interests to better satisfy customer expectations.

Analysis of the approved territorial plan of the small community and the proposal for its complement and change

This thesis concerns an analysis of the territorial plan of human settlement Svatý Jan nad Malší. Surrounding villages, such as Sedlce and Chlum nad Malší, were described in terms of the greatest changes, closer look can be provided on the cadastral plan of the town Svatý Jan nad Malší. Based on the study of territorial planning documentation and field exploration, individual parts of the territorial plan were evaluated, inconsistencies with actual condition were pointed out and necessary changes were proposed. To achieve completeness, questionnaire survey was conducted, from which the most problematic sections emerged, mainly work opportunities in village, condition and maintenance of roads and possible options of new construction. At the end, general maps of territorial plan were designed in ArcGIS software according to particular cadastral areas with advised changes.
