Adaptation of children in kindergarten from the point of view of parents' and teachers' evaluation

The diploma thesis deals with the issue of children's adaptation in kindergarten, primarily from the perspective of parents and teachers. The aim of the thesis is to develop relevant theoretical frameworks and starting points regarding adaptation in preschool education and to reflect on the issue of adaptation through a case study of a kindergarten in an empirical investigation. In the conclusion, recommendations are formulated for the further development of the pedagogical work of the selected kindergarten aimed at supporting the adaptation processes of children who start attending preschool education. The theoretical part first focuses on the definition of basic terms related to the course of the adaptation period and the socialization of the child in preschool age. It also deals with legislative documents on which the adaptation process is based. In the last part, the issues of communication, cooperation and psychosocial needs of the child are defined, which it is desirable to pay attention to specifically in this period. The media as a possible source of danger to a preschool child through the eyes of their parents.

This diploma thesis focuses on the topic of negative media effects on preschool children. The initial part of the work is devoted to the explanation of the term medium, its typology and functions. Furthermore, the work concerns the importance of media and digital literacy and its deployment in educational programs for preschool and primary education. The work also includes a description of the developmental specifics of preschool children and a description of the negative effects of the media. The last chapter of the theoretical part is devoted to educational styles in the family and their use for media education. The aim of the work was to find out how parents of preschool children perceive watching the media and whether they are aware of the possible negative effects that media have on children. The research was based on a quantitative method and a non-standardized questionnaire was used for data collection. 166 respondents took part in the survey based on the data analysis and interpretation of the results. The results show that parents of preschool children are aware of the negative effects of the media and are interested in the content that children consume in the media. The Use of Fairy tales and the Development of Pre-literacy Through the Eyes of Parents

This Bachelor Thesis deals with the use of fairy tales and the development of pre-literacy by parents of preschool children. The thesis is dividend into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part focuses on fairy tales, their origin, characteristic features and their influence on children's development. It also focuses on pre-literacy and its developmnet in children of preschool age. In the practical part, answers to research questions will be sought in the form of questionnaire for parents of preschool children. The goal is to find out how and how often parents of preschool children use fairy tales at home. Furthermore, the goal is to determine whether parents only use fairy tales passively or actively, and to investigate whether parents are aware of the influence of literature on children's development. Then, based on the answers obtained, create methodical material - a manual with suggested activities that parents could apply to (almost) any fairy tale and which supports better use of fairy tales in a family environment. With the help of this supportive material, parents would be able to work with fairy tales better and more efficiently, and thus would specifically support the development of pre- literacy in their children. School supporting health and a mainstream nursery school - comparison of the approach in planning education content.

Anotation: The bachelor's thesis focuses on the comparison of the mainstream nursery school and school supporting health in the field of pedagogical planning. The aim of the work is to describe the similarities and differences in the attitudes of teachers. Find out how diffrerent these approaches differ and to what extend they are similar. At the end of the theoretical part, it is listed by category what these approaches were and were similar to. In the practical part, the thesis tries to confirm or refute these statements based on interviews with teachers from kindergartens. The theoretical part of the thesis briefly mentions the origin of reform pedagogy at the beginning 20th century. Descibes the emergence of alternative and inovative programs in the Czech Republic. In the next theoretical part, possible ways of planning the educational process in nursery school at the school and class level will be presented. Competences of children in the field of safety and health protection in preschool education

The diploma thesis deals with the issue of safety and health protection. The aim is to demonstrate the extent to which children and first graders are able to correctly identify risk situations. Whether and, if applicable, what are the differences in the competences in the field of safety and health protection for children of preschool age and the competences of children of younger school age. The text and content of the thesis is divided into two main parts. The theoretical part presents an insight into the issues of safety and health protection. It explains and describes the basic concepts that must be understood and known, for the subsequent creation of comprehensive ideas about the interconnectedness and essence of the solved problem. Interprets the view of the Framework educational programs for preschool and basic education in terms of safety and health protection. At the same time, it monitors the content, methods and forms in which it is passed on to children in upbringing and education. The last and no less important part is devoted to children's competencies from the point of view of developmental psychology.
