Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou adaptace dětí v mateřské škole, a to především z pohledu rodičů a pedagogů. Cílem diplomové práce je zpracovat relevantní teoretické rámce a východiska týkající se adaptace v předškolním vzdělávání a v empirickém šetření reflektovat problematiku adaptace skrze případovou studii jedné mateřské školy. V závěru jsou formulována doporučení pro další rozvoj pedagogické práce vybrané mateřské školy směrující k podpoře adaptačních procesů dětí, které zahajují docházku do předškolního vzdělávání. Teoretická část se orientuje nejprve na vymezení základních termínů týkajících se průběhu adaptačního období a socializace dítěte v předškolním věku. Dále řeší legislativní dokumenty, o které se proces adaptace opírá. V poslední části je vymezena problematika komunikace, spolupráce a psychosociálních potřeb dítěte, kterým je žádoucí věnovat pozornost specificky v tomto období. Designem výzkumu v empirické části je případová studie jedné mateřská školy. Šetření se zaměřuje na analýzu očekávání, zkušeností a hodnocení průběhu a výsledku adaptačního období z pohledu rodičů a pedagogů ve vybrané mateřské škole. Klíčovým nástrojem sběru dat je dotazníkové šetření mezi rodiči a následně vedené polostrukturované rozhovory s pedagogy a rodiči. Výzkumným šetřením bylo zjištěno, že... The diploma thesis deals with the issue of children's adaptation in kindergarten, primarily from the perspective of parents and teachers. The aim of the thesis is to develop relevant theoretical frameworks and starting points regarding adaptation in preschool education and to reflect on the issue of adaptation through a case study of a kindergarten in an empirical investigation. In the conclusion, recommendations are formulated for the further development of the pedagogical work of the selected kindergarten aimed at supporting the adaptation processes of children who start attending preschool education. The theoretical part first focuses on the definition of basic terms related to the course of the adaptation period and the socialization of the child in preschool age. It also deals with legislative documents on which the adaptation process is based. In the last part, the issues of communication, cooperation and psychosocial needs of the child are defined, which it is desirable to pay attention to specifically in this period. The research design in the empirical part is a case study of one kindergarten.
