Time changes of the photovoltaic cells properties
Kvapil, Jakub ; Vaněk, Jiří (referee) ; Novák, Vítězslav (advisor)
The thesis is about the problematics of perovskite, production of perovskite structure and measurment of photovoltaic cells. The introduction deals with material properties and sctructure of perovskite. There is explained a problem of perovskit photovoltaic cells and production of perovskite structure. Then the measurement methods are explained, which are used for evaluation of photovoltaic cells properties.
Algorithmics to Support Decision-making in Financial Markets
Kvapil, Juraj ; Budík, Jan (referee) ; Dostál, Petr (advisor)
The diploma thesis is focused on area of algorithmic trading. The main focus in this thesis is aimed towards algorithmic solution to arbitrage trading scheme. This system can be categorized as a high frequency trading system that can trade almost risk free in case that ideal technical conditions are met. Model in this thesis is backtested on cryptocurrency Bitcoin, the reason for that is balance between asset liquidity and amount of opportunities that occur on markets for this trading model. System can be used as well on other instruments that have similar characteristics. The main use case for this tool is to provide real time information for trader about occurring opportunities. Used software core has also ability to place automated trading orders based on results of analysis.
Adaptive histogram equalization for digital images processing
Kvapil, Jiří ; Martišek, Karel (referee) ; Druckmüller, Miloslav (advisor)
The diploma thesis is focused on histogram equalization method and his extension by the adaptive boundary. This thesis contains explanations of basic notions on that histogram equalization method was created. Next part is described the human vision and priciples of his imitation. In practical part of this thesis was created software that makes it possible to use methods of adaptive histogram equalization on real images. At the end is showed some results that was reached.
Design of Solar Hot Water Systems for Residential House
Kvapil, Jakub ; Morávek, Jan (referee) ; Radil, Lukáš (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis deals with the design of a solar system for water heating in apartment building. The introduction covers solar collectors. The following part contains theoretical calculations according to the TNI 73 0302 standard. The thesis includes the design of solar system and its financial balance. The technological scheme is included in the appendix.
Robotic arm model design
Kvapil, Jakub ; Dobrovský, Ladislav (referee) ; Hůlka, Tomáš (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the design and construction of a robotic arm model. The robotic arm is driven by four stepper motors and two servomotors. Most of the supporting parts are made using 3D printing. The control of the arm is realized by a microcontroller of the Arduino type. The software and the construction are verified on a test task.
Data analysis from moving vehicle
Kvapil, Josef ; Šedivá, Soňa (referee) ; Havlíková, Marie (advisor)
The thesis deals with data analysis obtained from the traffic simulator. The data are from trajectory of vehicle movement. The analysis are suggested to driving trajectory which are obtained from the characteristic parameters for the subsequent detection of the critical vehicle position. Analysis and evaluation of the detection critical vehicle position are solved in the Matlab program scripts.
Measurement and numerical simulation of inhaled particles in models of human lungs
Kvapil, Jakub ; Elcner, Jakub (referee) ; Lízal, František (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with lung models for deposition measurement and computer simulations of inhaled particle deposition. The latest findings were reviewed. The basics of human respiratory anatomy and physiology are also presented. The measurement of chitosan particle deposition was performed by a fluorometric method on the lung model, results were evaluated and compared with literature.
Algorithmization for decision support
Kvapil, Juraj ; Budík, Jan (referee) ; Dostál, Petr (advisor)
The bachelor thesis is focused on area of algoritmic trading. The main focus in this thesis is aimed towards algorytmic solution to technical analysis on cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin as well as on other instruments, for example currency pair EUR/USD. You will be presented with my method to maximize productivity and make trading efortless. My solution is based on real time runnig software, that is capable of detecting predetermined patterns in price charts. Software has also ability to place automated trading orders based on results of analisys.
Bending and cutting press machine for representativ part
Kvapil, Jan ; Vašátko, Pavel (referee) ; Knoflíček, Radek (advisor)
KVAPIL Jan: Bending and cutting press machine for representativ part The Master´s thesis, which is developer in an undergraduate degrese in M-VSR, provides a brief overview and description of the cutting and bending technology. The thesis is carried out the calculation, which is essential for the design cutting and bending tools. Models and design are created in the software SolidWorks 2012. The Master´s thesis includes a general procedure after the award until after copy the parts on it.
Thermal Contact Resistance Under High Temperature
Kvapil, Jiří ; Návrat, Tomáš (referee) ; Brestovič, Tomáš (referee) ; Horský, Jaroslav (advisor)
Nowadays numerical simulations are used to optimize manufacturing process. These numerical simulations need a large amount of input parameters and some of these parameters have not been sufficiently described. One of this parameter is thermal contact resistance, which is not sufficiently described for high temperatures and high contact pressure. This work describes experimental measuring of thermal contact resistance and how to determine thermal contact conductance which can be used as a boundary condition for numerical simulations. An Experimental device was built in Heat Transfer and Fluid Flow Laboratory, part of Brno University of Technology, and can be used for measuring thermal contact conductance in various conditions, such as contact pressure, initial temperatures of bodies in contact, type of material, surface roughness, presence of scales on the contact surface. Bodies in contact are marked as a sensor and a sample, both are embedded with thermocouples. The temperature history of bodies during an experiment is measured by thermocouples and then used to estimate time dependent values of thermal contact conductance by an inverse heat conduction calculation. Results are summarized and the dependence of thermal contact conductance in various conditions is described.
