Bielik, Ĺudovít ; Kunstová, Renáta (advisor) ; Fortinová, Jana (referee)
The purpose of the thesis is the analysis of current business processes of the company and subsequent proposal of new modifications and changes concerning the processes so that the company can use them within the frame of internal changes (change in the information system component) and within the frame of its performance improvement. The paper has two main parts. The first one is theoretical, describing business processes in general. Division (meaning) of processes, methods for their analysis and optimization are futher outlined. The second part is practical. It is focused on the company MIPECOM, s.r.o. on its key processes and their optimization. The theoretical part defines meaning and division of the processes and the methods in a general manner through various perspectives. The methods that are presented along with their advantages and limits are those by which the processes are analyzed. The methods suitable for key processes optimization are equally described. The target of practical part is of optimizing certain processes. To meet the objective should be to describe the various processes of the company and also analyze its surroundings for a better orientation and a facilitation of comprehension of the given situation. Finally, is necessary to build a model a proposal for a new solution, together with a description of the expected benefits or problems.
Analysis of enterprise content management in SSČS a.s. and its optimization design
Lokaj, Lukáš ; Kunstová, Renáta (advisor) ; Procházka, Rudolf (referee)
This thesis focuses on design of document exchange solution used between Stavební spořitelna České spořitelny a.s. (SSČS) and its external sales network, which is outdated and doesn't meet the needs of SSČS or sales network. The thesis also includes the identification of suitable basic principles used in the service-oriented architecture (SOA) concept and their application in design solutions. The aim of the thesis is a conceptual solution design, based on the principles of SOA and the following technological design of changes in existing environment, so that on this basis could be created a functional and technical specification for suppliers of these applications. Stated objective is achieved through an initial analysis of the current environment, which identifies the possibilities of existing applications, and identifies weaknesses in the process that will be changed in the new solution. The analysis covers as the environment of external sales network as the related environment in SSČS, which together figure in the process of documentation exchange. As the results of the analysis and based on theoretical knowledge and consultation with experts in the field of SOA is then formulated a proposed solution at the conceptual level, which is further elaborated in the description of the proposed changes in individual components of the new solution. The outputs of this thesis will serve SSČS both in terms of describing the existing and the new environment, and as an input for the specifications of the proposed amendments to the supplier concerned applications. Structure of the thesis consists of introduction, devoted to the characterization of SSČS and providing an initial framework for solved domain. This is followed by a description and the analysis of external sales network, particularly in terms of application equipment and communication flows, followed by a description of the environment in SSČS, which contains the components processing sent documents. Next part of thesis is devoted to the formulation of the basic concepts of SOA and selection of appropriate principles that are followed in the subsequent section to draft the solution itself, first at the conceptual level, followed by a detailed description of the necessary changes. Everything is then evaluated in the final part.
Application of Case Management Approach in the Design of Electronic Public Procurement tool
Kovář, Martin ; Kunstová, Renáta (advisor) ; Bahník, Václav (referee)
The main topic of the thesis is case management - a modern concept of dynamic business processes that emphasizes data and user involvement in decision-making process. The main goal is to create a functional prototype of information system for e-procurement based on case management approach that solves problematic aspects of current electronic procurement environment in Czech Republic. In the theoretical section, there is a description of the basic concept of case management and the possible use of case management across various sectors. Subsequently the reference model and general architecture of case management system are introduced and an optimal methodology for modelling and analysis of case management solution that combines existing standards in context is proposed. The practical section contains an analysis of the functional requirements and description of the electronic public procurement system, both in terms of the minimum legal requirements for solutions and problematic area derived from the perspective of Czech eGovernement. Detailed implementation-ready model is created using the proposed modelling methodology that forms a foundation for implementation of the selected scope of the electronic procurement system based on the IBM platform. Created prototype facilitates a procurement specification via an easy-to-use interface that incorporates methodological support when entering the data, automatic recommendation of suitable suppliers and proactive inspection of a compliance with regulatory requirements. Contribution of the work lies in the demonstration of possibilities for optimal e-procurement solution implementation. Within the results of the work are identified obvious practical benefits of case management for this area, particularly the speed of deployment and implementation changes, variable and dynamic user experience and efficient distribution of necessary information to the end-user. I have evaluated usage of a case management system for similar projects as appropriate and useful.
Implementation of electronic registry into the company E.ON Czech republic
Vaněk, Petr ; Kunstová, Renáta (advisor) ; Ovesný, Tomáš (referee)
The diploma thesis deals with the processes associated with receiving and sending postal items of E.ON Czech Republic followed with the effective development of the life cycle of documents with use of the digitization and data mining. The aim is to develop the project "Electronic Registry", which can be implemented into current information systems of the company and which will contribute to the optimization of processes of the registry. To achieve this objective it was developed an extensive analysis of the current state of registry and records management system in E.ON Czech Republic. Based on analysis it was proposed a specific solution for improvement. The first part deals with the analysis of current legislative requirements and theoretical analysis of the document lifecycle, which is demonstrated on the example of E.ON Czech Republic in the second part of the thesis. In the second part there is the introduction of company E.ON Czech Republic, which is followed by description of the current state of registry and processes in relation to the rece-iving of postal items. In the analysis of the current situation there are identified issues that arise when receiving and processing postal items to the registry. To the identified problems are offered individual solutions, which are elaborated in the overall solution in the final part of the thesis. The last part is a custom suggestion of optimization of existing processes by using of digi-tizing paper documents and data mining for automatic sorting, which helps to streamline existing processes. This section describes specific solution that is introduced into the E.ON Czech Republic. The solution system provides a single place for the digitization of docu-ments received and their subsequent management.
The impact of legislation on information system in a bank institution
Jedlička, Václav ; Kunstová, Renáta (advisor) ; Maryška, Miloš (referee)
This diploma thesis deals with the impact of legislation on information system in a particular bank institution. Based on the proposal of European Market Infrastructure Regulation it identifies areas where the bank institution does not fulfill the regulation requirements. The thesis also tries to suggest existing processes adjustment and guarantee for them the support of information systems. During the existing processes investigation it discovers other weaknesses and suggests solutions leading to their elimination. These solutions would also lead to acceleration and increase in efficiency within the Straightthrough Processing model. The thesis devotes to all points of European regulation which should be fulfilled in the bank institution's point of view. First the current situation and then the solution of the particular point are mentioned. The thesis looks more detailed into central clearing. There are analyzed possible options in the process point of view. The impacts on the information system are specified for the chosen and most appropriate option. In order to secure the compact understanding of investigated issues, the thesis includes relations of European Market Infrastructure Regulation to the BASEL III concept, regulation supervision authorities in the European Union or introduction to functioning and core of financial derivatives.
Solution of internal communication and cooperation with IT support
Růt, Václav ; Kunstová, Renáta (advisor) ; Fortinová, Jana (referee)
The thesis focuses on internal communication and cooperation within a small company. The theoretical knowledge is applied on the company Firma 2.0. The current status is analyzed and thanks to questionnaire survey the main flaws of the present solution of internal communication and cooperation are identified. Currently, Firma 2.0 uses few decentralized applications that are becoming insufficient due to the trend of enlarging size of the company. That is why a new centralized solution is offered, which will be developed tailor-made for the company. The base of documentation is enclosed and reflects the requirements of the company. Application is module-made and is possible to use in small and middle-sized companies. This is the reason why it will enlarge the present portfolio of already offered application of Firma 2.0.
