Detection of the retinal nerve fibre layer

This thesis is deals with the nerve fibre layer in the colour ophthalmology images of retina. The thesis describes how can we use finding of nerve fibre layer and how was it solved in the past. In the thesis are proposed the methods that are based on processing and scoring frequency spectrums of individual sample of retina. At first here are described the methods of detection on the artificial generated samples that just simulate the nerve fibre layer. Then the thesis concentrates on processing of real images of retina. Because of the bloodstream, that depreciates processing at real images, are all surveyed samples are chosen manually. Except detection the nerve fibre layer itself, the thesis also deals with determination of direction their dissemination.

Local gastronomy as a destination brand: Czech Republic case study

Various destinations today are struggling with a variety of challenges where they are forced to come up with interesting and innovative marketing communication solutions to attract travellers and build their overall image. This is also a difficult task due to the recent Covid-19 pandemic, which has significantly affected the tourism industry. One of the areas that countries and regions are making use of is local gastronomy, and this is no different in the Czech Republic. This thesis aims to find out how the Czech Republic generally works with the topic of local gastronomy, how it is perceived by active travellers and where its communication opportunities lie in this area. The theoretical part of the thesis gradually maps the functioning of local brands, then describes the tourism segment and marketing of this area. It also explores the topic of gastronomy in the context of the national brand and also maps the communication of the Czech Republic and its long-term vision. The research part of the thesis then examines how the Czech Republic works with the theme of gastronomy to attract tourists, whether is is an important decision factor for travellers and describes the opportunities that the country could exploit in its marketing communication. Analysis of the political program of the Strana svobodných občanů

This diploma thesis deals with a political program of Strana svobodných občanů. Firstly, the methodology used in this thesis is explored in the first chapter. Then, in the second chapter are defined and described relevant theoretical concepts. These are the concepts of Euroscepticism, anarchocapitalism and libertarianism. In the case of Euroscepticism, a typology by a French political scientist Cécile Leconte is used as well because Euroscepticism is a very complex term. In the next chapter there are described relevant aspects of political philosophy of Strana svobodných občanů. The fourth chapter, with help of content analysis of the Strana svobodných občanů program, answers to all of the research questions: To what extent is Euroscepticism present in the political philosophy of Strana svobodných občanů? How the presence of Euroscepticism in the political philosophy of Strana svobodných občanů evolved since the founding of the party to the present? The Political System of the Second Czechoslovak Republic

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá politickým systémem Druhé Československé republiky. První kapitola se věnuje definici autoritativních režimů a jejich dělení podle Juana Josého Linze. Dále stručně představuji politický systém První Československé republiky, abych později mohl lépe popsat změny, které nastaly ve Druhé republice. Poté se zabývám Mnichovskou dohodou a jejím vlivem na podobu Druhé republiky. V následující kapitole se věnuji jednotlivým aspektům Druhé Československé republiky, přičemž se budu primárně snažit zodpovědět otázku: "Byl politický systém Druhé Československé republiky demokratický, nebo byl spíše autoritativního rázu?" Konkrétněji se v této kapitole věnuji ústavě, fungování státní správy, soustavě státních orgánů, hospodářskému režimu a dodržování občanských práv a svobod. Samostatnou kapitolu jsem přiřadil stranickému systému, na kterém byl nejviditelnější úpadek demokracie. V této kapitole popisuji možné podoby stranického systému a velkou pozornost věnuji Straně národní jednoty a Národní straně práce. Dále popisuji stranický systém na Slovensku a objasňuji fungování neloajálních opozičních skupin. V závěru budu aplikovat Linzovu teorii autoritativních režimů na případ Druhé republiky, čímž zodpovím onu výzkumnou otázku.

Visual merchandising as a tool of in-store marketing communication

The thesis covers the topic of visual merchandising, which is one of the in-store marketing communication tools. The aim of the theoretical part is to put this concept in the context of this type of marketing communication and to define it. The history of visual merchandising and its objectives, principles and aspects are described as well. The thesis shows the individual tools of visual merchandising, which are goods arranging, mannequins, lighting, signs and navigation, windows, working with materials and the use of colour, where the typology and use in practice are showed. Also, the distribution mechanism of goods in a store are described by the author. In the practical part an analysis of visual merchandising at two selected stores, Vans and Manufaktura, was made. The author describes it and compares with the concepts that are illustrated in the theoretical chapter. The practical part also includes structured interviews with representatives of the brands of both the analysed stores, where additional information on the visual merchandising of the entire stores were obtained.
