Scale for measuring generativity- construction and verification of psychometric properties
Faberová, Karolína ; Blatný, Marek (advisor) ; Šípek, Jiří (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to construct a generativity scale and verify its psychometric properties within the Czech environment. We focus on both the theoretical foundations of generativity as well as the tools of its measurement. While these measures already exist, they do not sufficiently correspond with the context of the Czech environment. The constructed scale focuses on 7 areas of generativity and is based on some already existing tools, namely the LGS and GBC. Furthermore, using a content analysis of 150 interviews of participants between the ages of 50 and 60 years and considering the already existing tools, we created a 31-item scale which we further reduced to 24 items in the traditional item analysis. The overall achieved Cronbach's α value of 0.803 with a 95% confidence interval (0.766-0.835) is satisfactory. We conclude that the thesis has fulfilled the requirements of a pilot study and provides opportunities for subsequent research.

Faberová, Karolína ; Čáp, David (advisor) ; Boukalová, Hedvika (referee)
Bachelor thesis focuses on mapping intervention programs designed for juvenile criminal offenders while serving their sentence in prison. The first part of the thesis, the literary review, aims to describe various psychosocial contexts of the adolescent development period focusing mainly on risk factors associated with family and peer group. We also deal with risk behaviors in adolescence, such as manifestations of aggression and delinquent or criminal behavior. Furthermore, we present selected intervention and therapeutic programs that emphasize social interaction, dealing with impulsive and aggressive manifestations, and also responsibility for their actions and the criminal offence. Moreover, risk factors which might be successfully targeted by appropriate interventions are outlined in this part of the thesis. Subsequently, a research project theoretically related to the literary review is proposed. The proposed research project focuses on behavioral change and the development of social skills of juvenile criminal offenders as a result of an intervention program aimed at this particular group.
