Solving of problems dealing with volume and surface in the three-dimensional space by 15-16-year old pupils (9th grade)

The topic of my diploma thesis is the solution to exercises of volume and surface of 3D solids. The aim of the thesis is to make own didactic test and to analyse the methods of solution to math exercises in the 9th grade students of ZŠ Amálská. Also to compare the results of the tests in math and science orientated class to "normal1 " class and to find out the success rate of solutions in both classes. I focused only on pyramid and cone, because they are part of curriculum in 9th grade of basic schools after students are admitted to high schools, and after examination of educational programme of chosen school I realised that both classes had the same outputs of given schoolwork. I divided my thesis into two parts - theoretical and practical part. Theoretical part contains five chapters. In the first chapter I focus on didactic tests and their making. In the next chapter I deal with evaluation in general and school evaluation. In the third part there is the term of word exercise defined. In the fourth chapter there are solutions to the word exercises. And in the last chapter I define the term geometrical solid. In the practical part there are the aims and methods of survey, characteristic of research sample, making of didactic test, content of didactic test and analysis of students' solutions...

The aim of this bachelor's work is to sort out and comprehensively organize the word problems on volume and surface elements that appear in textbooks and tasks collections for elementary and secondary schools, namely for the needs of pupils and teachers. The introductory part deals with the characteristic of geometric solids. There are the basic concepts related to objects defined and explained. In the following part there is the notion of the word problems defined. The last part deals with the sorting and organizing word problems for volume and surface area. There are a number of specific tasks selected from the textbooks and tasks collections for primary and secondary schools assigned to each type of task. Tasks are presented with their solution. Aim: Analyse counselling focused on dealing with drug related problems in pharmacies in the Czech Republic provided by participants who have attended guaranteed specialized course: Basis of specialized counselling in pharmacy including dealing with DRPs between 2015-2017. Methods: Data were collected through a questionnaire which was sent to all course- participants. The questionnaire was divided into 3 parts. The first part was submitted to all pharmacists, the second one was for pharmacists, who provide counselling and the third one for non-counselling pharmacists. The questionnaire contained 34 questions and was evaluated by MS Excel and processed by frequent analysis. Results: We received 89 answers from 215 participants (41 %). The number of pharmacists who provided counselling before the course were 29. Their number increased...

TITLE: Marriage and the Position of Women in Anne Brontë's The Tenant of Wildfell Hall and Charlotte Brontë's Jane Eyre AUTHOR: Michaela Dlouhá DEPARTMENT: Department of the English Language and Literature SUPERVISOR: Bernadette Higgins, M.A. ABSTRACT: The thesis aims to explore the position of women in the Victorian era, particularly with regard to marriage, and to see how this is reflected in these two novels - The Tenant of Wildfell Hall by Anne Brontë and Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë. The theoretical part explores the legal and social situation of women in the early nineteenth century and the practical part firstly analyses the novels separately to see how both authors reflect the realities facing women of the era. The last section of the practical part offers the overall comparison of the two chosen novels and examines differences and similarities in the central messages and in the final achievement of independence, equality and justice. Detection of heart inflammation in a mouse model of atherosclerosis Diploma thesis Author: Michaela Dlouhá Study program: Pharmacy Charles University in Prague Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Background: Atherosclerosis is an inflammatory disease caused by deposition of blood lipids in the wall of arteries involving a wide range of inflammatory substances. Recent evidences suggest, that inflammation plays an irreplaceable role in the development and subsequent complications of this disease. Raising proinflammatory markers increase worsening of prognosis in patients with acute coronary syndrome, indepently of myocardial damage. Therefore, the aim of this study is to compare the changes in the expression of inflammatory markers in ApoE/LDLr-/- mouse model of atherosclerosis. Methods: By the Western blot method we monitored the expression of VCAM-1, ICAM-1 and P-selectin in the myocardium of 2 and 8 months old ApoE/LDLr-/- mice fed by standard diet. Our results show, that we did not detect any statistically significant differences in expression of observed markers. Results and conclusions: Based on the results we assume, that there is a deterioration of the inflammatory response in myocardial ApoE/LDLr-/- mice. Internet reservation systems of a particular lodging facility and their importance

The bachelor thesis is focused on analysis of internet reservation systems of a particular lodging facility. Theoretical part introduces the main topic of information technologies, gives characteristics of the main issues and states continuity with on-line sales forms in the field of lodging services. Besides that this part also represents on-line distribution channels of lodging facilities. Analytical part describes the unnamed aparthotel, evaluates the importance of each on-line distribution channel from its advantages, disadvantages and differences. In conclusion it advises recommendations in order to improve the co-operation with the unnamed aparthotel.
