Purposeful updating of a set of historical objects
Láníková, Petra ; Maar, Radek (referee) ; Boleslavská, Yvona (advisor)
The grounds of the Porta Coeli monastery have been revived since their return to the Cistercian order, in restitution in 1995. The monastery's management is gradually trying to repair and improve it. Due to the large area and the long time of neglect, this is a task for a long time. In my work, I am looking for other possibilities for using currently unused and often dilapidated buildings. The main entrance to the complex is through a passage in the new fort building. Most pedestrians flow through here and continue to walk through the linden alley. As part of the revitalization, I would like to propose in my project the use of this linden alley for the organization of markets - from farms with local food to Christmas. I am convinced that the stalls located in the alley, together with the lighting on the trees, would be able to create a magical Christmas atmosphere behind the scenes of a major monument and would certainly attract visitors from a great distance. In the project, I address the granary and sheepfold buildings in more detail. The former granary will provide new accommodation for 66 people and a beer spa, and the former sheepfold will be a multifunctional hall suitable for exhibitions, training, concerts and weddings. These buildings are located in the back of the area, and this location ensures privacy at events and at the same time should not be disturbed by tourists.
Winery Mikulov
Vlček, Martin ; Boleslavská, Yvona (referee) ; Mléčka, Jan (advisor)
MIKULOV WINERY U Lomu Wine proposal is bound to a place I know well from my childhood - the house in Mikulov under Turoldem. The house where my grandparents lived for many years and have built their homes and facilities. Idea of my diploma work is in the design winery, which would continue in both local and family tradition. In addition to a family house with housing the winemaker and his family (private part), there would have been even wine production focused on quality rather than quantity (production part). The design includes a raised corner object that represents the winery itself - tavern with an observation gallery offering local wines and dishes. It is tied to a large garden with flowering fruit trees, pergola with barbecue and seating. In the vicinity of the summer garden is designed smaller square that embrace houses, which offer private accommodation for lovers of culture and others. They are designed as double duplex units with views of the city skyline Mikulov. The object at the head of the square acts as a barrier on the ground. Story building is underground operationally linked to the cellar, where wine tasting will take place for a larger group of wine lovers drink in a separate vaulted room under the ground. The spaces between the square and on the corner object applies water element - copper well supplied with water from the spring. Instead of symbolically linked with copper, which refers to the settlement of this landscape in the Neolithic (the time of copper). Overall, the project reflects the potential of the place and reflects the traditional method of farming into a contemporary winery.
Object for small and medium production
Lyzhanov, Iurii ; Rosendorf, Aleš (referee) ; Boleslavská, Yvona (advisor) ; Kacálek, Petr (advisor)
On a basis of my project of the second year of bachelor's study on the Faculty of Civil Engineering the following bachelor's thesis is prepared, which goes on to the Documentation for Building Permit and Documentation for Construction. The theme of the work is Object for small and medium production in Brno Kohoutovice. Bachelor thesis is the object for small and medium business, design of production objects. I have designed two objects, one of the them is used for furniture production, the other one is used as an administrative part and as attendant for production section. The objects have two floors, in the administrative part of the first floor is used for production, the second floor is used for catering employees, there is also a space that meant for office rooms, workshop and coworking room. In the production building the two above-ground floors are used for production, which includes hygienic facilities for employees. Each of the objects has an atrium in the middle, which is used as a place for rest during working breaks. In the atrium there are little plant-borne spacing. The construction of the objects is made up of a systém of skeletal columns. As a filler wall was chosen a Porotherm's thermal insulation systém based on mineral wool. The main focus in the design of the objects was the creation of flexible spaces, their proper use, the interconnection demanding to concentrate work and the possibility of rest within the working space.
Nanotechnology educational and research center (NanoArch)
Hamdanieh, Livine ; Boleslavská, Yvona (referee) ; Žalmanová, Petra (advisor)
„Science, the Never-Ending Quest.“ The diploma thesis deals with a proposal of science center aimed at promoting science and education in the field of nanotechnology. The aim of the project is to design a science center that will complement the existing building complex of CEITEC Nano BUT but also through its architectural expression represent the value of such institution and enable it to stand out among the existing buildings, allowing it to become the new center „brain“ of the complex. Nanotechnology represents a significant sphere of the scientific world that holds big potential for the future in various industries including architecture and building construction. The aim of the diploma thesis is thus not only to design new science center but also to raise awarness of nanotechnolgy. The design proposal is based on simple geometric shape - circle which is segmented into three parts. Logical shape of circle complements the already existing complex and becomes the new center point "brain" of the whole complex. The symbol of infinity that circle and Mobius strip represent is associated with the never ending scientific research as the science itself is at the end nothing but a "never ending quest".

Purposeful updating of a set of historical objects
Cvrčková, Dana ; Klement, Miloš (referee) ; Boleslavská, Yvona (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the design for the restoration of the former granary and sheepfold in the monastery complex of Porta Coeli, Předklášteří near the city of Tišnov. When conducting the architectural study, it was necessary to analyze and take into account the cultural-historical values of the monastery, its premises and its immediate surroundings, plus the structural-technical condition of the monastery complex and public functions in the vicinity. The basic idea underpinning the design was to create a place where people would gather and this bring life to the monastery grounds. Therefore the former sheepfold becomes s multifunctional hall where celebrations, weddings, corporate events can be staged in addition to municipal functions. In close proximity to the sheepfold there is the granary for which the design includes a puppet theatre and the upper floors to be used for hotel accommodation. These design features combine to create an environment that encourages people to frequent and use the monastery grounds Porta Coeli.
Parking house of NPP Dukovany
Okounová, Kateřina ; Rosendorf, Aleš (referee) ; Boleslavská, Yvona (advisor) ; Matějka, Libor (advisor)
The theme of this thesis is the design of two parking houses, which will be made in stages in the area of the Dukovany nuclear power plant. The construction site is located directly in the Dukovany NPP site, south of the cooling towers, which do not interfere with the area in any way. North of this area is a commercial area and bus station, which is separated from the land by buildings and greenery. The five-storey parking houses will not disturb the surrounding character of the buildings. Cooling towers have a big influence on this and they are unmistakable by their height and the designed objects will not have a massive effect next to these towers, they only complement the surrounding buildings. The buildings are designed of regular shape. A more prominent feature on these buildings will be the front facade itself and the glass staircase spaces. The main entrances to the building will be marked with a light sign “P1” and “P2” for better orientation between buildings. The layout of the parking house "S01" in the first stage is designed using two ramps located in the middle of the building. There is also a station for charging electric cars, bicycle storage, sanitary facilities, cleaning room and TZB room. The stairwells are designed in three places for easier access of people. The parking function is complemented in the 1st floor with 6 self-service car wash boxes, which are only accessible from outside the building due to the wet use process. The second stage of construction is considered to be the same layout, the entrance to the second building "S02" is designed from the west side.

Winery Marcinčák Novosedly
Dumková, Daniela ; Todorov, Petr (referee) ; Boleslavská, Yvona (advisor) ; Petříček, Tomáš (advisor)
The assignment of the bachelor's thesis is an architectural study of a winery in Stará Hora in the village of Novosedly. In addition to wine production, the building also includes representative spaces (tasting, wine shop) and accommodation for guests and owners. The work is based on an already prepared study in the subject AG032 - Studio of Architectural Creation II, which was followed by the subject AG036 - Complex project and the whole project ends with a bachelor's thesis on the topic. The design includes two separate objects - a production object and a representative object, which lie on opposite sides of the plot. The production building is one-storey and partially hidden under the terrain. The shape of the representative building is inspired by the fruit of the vine. The representative building is two-storey, on the first floor there is accommodation for guests, including facilities for staff and a room for the owner, on the second floor there is a tasting room, hygienic rooms for guests and last but not least a catering area. The location of the building in a sloping terrain allows us a beautiful view of nearby Mikulov. The wooden terrace designed next to the representative building completes the shape of the vine fruit.
