This bachelor's thesis deals with the theory of creating modern web applications, whose logic is solved predominantly on server. Various technologies that are commonly used are analyzed. Thesis mainly deals with creating specific application for managing photo-contests on Facebook site. These photo-contests are organized by companies to expose their brand. Requirements for the application are specified and a final draft is created. Then the implementation and application scalability are described.
Longtime Video

This thesis describes methods used for making time-lapse video from a set of photographs and tools, which make it easier. It suggests and evaluates different approaches useful for elimination of frames, which differ from the rest of the set, application of digital image filters and other useful features. Practical part of this work is a computer program implementing these methods and features.
Collaborative Interaction among Users in Virtual 3D Scene

The goal of this bachelor's thesis was to get familiarized with graphical library OpenSceneGraph, windowing library Qt and possibilities of network communication. And to demonstrate possibilities of these libraries on simple application. Basic traits of used libraries and tools are explained to the reader. Design and implementation of application -- network game are descriped later in thesis.
Conference Guide

This work explores the methods of extracting semantic information from natural language texts. An ad-hoc method for analyzing conference programmes and two formal methods for estimating the relatedness of two short texts are explained. These methods are applied to the problem of recommending an individual schedule for a scientific conference.
Navigation System for Buildings on Mobile Device

This work is focused to suggest an approach, which simplifies creation of indoor navigation systems on mobile devices. The final solution is divided into two parts: an auxiliary tool for creating localization and navigation assets and mobile navigation application. The auxiliary tool creates assets needed to localize with the help of scanning surrounding access points in the place of user's standing in a building. The tool also generates navigational graph with cooperation of user and based on the geometric representation of building's rooms. The localization of a mobile device is based on WIFI fingerprinting method, which in the offline phase needs to have a map of fingerprints available. It is necessary to create this map manually. The tool will make easier for the user to create needed map and make deployment of the indoor navigation into the mobile devices more efficient.
Graphical Design Tool for HTML5 Applications

This bachelor thesis is focused on design and implementation of a tool for graphical design of HTML5 aplications drawn on Canvas. The editor helps to create user interface visually with positioning, transformation and grouping of image sprites and export to target aplication. The work describes process of development of this tool, involving description of solved problem, exploration of theoretical informations, design and implementation of final product. Feedback of potential users is described in the end of the work, evaluating success of solving defined requirements.
Time-Lapse Video

This thesis deals with the introduction into the topic of time-lapse video creation. It focuses on cases where tripod is not used and therefore it is  necessary to eliminate incurred shortcomings. The main shortcomings are different position of individual frames, different brightness and color adjustment. The next topic describes which principles should be followed during the creation process. Thesis describes and implements methods for elimination of main shortcomings during process long time-lapse videos, which are recorded by hand. Thesis also precisely describes image registration, correction of brightness and colors. Thesis is also considers histograms comparison. Result of this work is application, which eliminates problems described above.
User Interaction with Objects in 3D Space

This thesis examines the design of a method of human interaction with real world objects. For this purpose, an application that visualizes virtual space with virtual objects similar to real world objects was created. A user is able to interact with these objects through natural user interface based on hand gestures. Solution is based on the use of depth sensors. This thesis describes all important steps to achieve these goals. Finally, experiments and results of designed interfaces are summarized and discussed.
Browse the Map on Your Mobile Device by Moving the Device

This thesis focuses on the creation of a mobile application that presents a map and based on the movement of a mobile device in space, represents a sliding map camera. The theoretical part is focused on acquaintance with available technologies and design of a system of data processing methods from inertial measuring units of mobile devices and video from the smartphone camera. The practical part is focused on the implementation of mobile application that obtain data from motion sensors and move the map.
Audio Streaming for Android Devices Using UPnP

Velké množství lidí v současnosti používá své chytré telefony jako mobilní hudební přehrávač, kde si ukládá svou oblíbenou hudbu. Chceme-li při poslechu zvýšit hudební zážitek, tak toho můžeme docílit tím, že použijeme kvalitní externí soustavu reproduktorů, kterou připojíme přes wireless stream protokol UPnP a RTSP. Tyto protokoly umožní jednoduché sdílení hudby a jsou již implementovány v převážné většině audio-video zařízení. Tato práce si klade za cíl popis těchto technologií, na základě čeho popisuje i vývoj a realizaci jednoduché aplikace na sdílení audia.
