Data Mining with Python
Šenovský, Jakub ; Bartík, Vladimír (referee) ; Zendulka, Jaroslav (advisor)
The main goal of this thesis was to get acquainted with the phases of data mining, with the support of the programming languages Python and R in the field of data mining and demonstration of their use in two case studies. The comparison of these languages in the field of data mining is also included. The data preprocessing phase and the mining algorithms for classification, prediction and clustering are described here. There are illustrated the most significant libraries for Python and R. In the first case study, work with time series was demonstrated using the ARIMA model and Neural Networks with precision verification using a Mean Square Error. In the second case study, the results of football matches are classificated using the K - Nearest Neighbors, Bayes Classifier, Random Forest and Logical Regression. The precision of the classification is displayed using Accuracy Score and Confusion Matrix. The work is concluded with the evaluation of the achived results and suggestions for the future improvement of the individual models.

The thesis deals with the work of the Czech writer, philosopher and diplomat Rudolf Ina Malý. Keywords: Rudolf Ina Malý, fascism, democracy, Jesus, man, Emil Svoboda.
Oikonomia of Hussites
Šenovský, Jakub ; Spalová, Barbora (advisor) ; Nešpor, Zdeněk (referee)
This work discusses how parishes of The Czechoslovak Hussite Church are managed as well as from which sources this management arises. The entire work is based on my research in two parishes of the church. The research took about a year. The Czechoslovak Hussite Church is one of so called "people's churches", but in recent years this church has to deal with a great loss of its members and high age of the remaining members. All these issues require an adequate response from the administrators of the parishes, which is to a great extend based on the faith, i.e. on a specific theology, which is actually a biblical theology. What is more, this theology affects all dimensions of administration. The main goal of this work is to show that the individual spheres of administration decisions are not separated, but all of them are derived from one source. This source is, indeed, the specific theology of the church. The same principles of administration are applied even in the economic behaviour of the parishes, where one can also observe the same principles, which were applied in the everyday running of the church or in the sermons etc. Key words: The Czechoslovak Hussite Church, church administration, church economy, oikonomia
Nicholas of Cusa on Human, Intellect and Number
Šenovský, Jakub ; Novák, Aleš (advisor) ; Nejeschleba, Tomáš (referee) ; Karfíková, Lenka (referee)
This thesis deals with the anthropological thinking of Nicholas of Cusa. The first part presents the fundamental metaphysical motifs that are the basis for this anthropology - above all, it concerns the conception of human as a mind (intellect). This conception is linked with the thinking of the first Principle (God) as the unity that is identical with itself. This unity/oneness of the One descends into the world through number that is one and multiple at the same time (all higher numbers consist of ones). The emphasis on unity of the One and on number as a mean of the creation is the reason, why Cusa's main concern, regarding the understanding of the world, aren't individual substances, but the relations between these substances. And for this kind of metaphysical thinking it is really important to develop also a strong notion of human intellect (mind), but the first philosophical texts to some extent fail to do so. The second part of this thesis deals with the proper anthropology that is developed in the dialogues with the idiota. It is shown what is the role of human mind in the dynamics of descent and ascent of unity of the One - it is the human mind and its intellectual return to its Beginning through which is all creation being made one and being brought to its true nature that is the One. The last...
Chrysippus and Augustine on suicide
Golatová, Hana ; Chavalka, Jakub (advisor) ; Šenovský, Jakub (referee)
The thesis deals with suicide and topics related to it in the concept of Chrysippus of Soloi and St. Augustine. Despite the differences in their conclusions, both discuss this phenomenon in connection withdissatisfaction with life. They are based on the assumption of the initial inadequacy of human nature and the possibility of attaining happiness through its perfection. Chrysippus believes that under certain conditions suicide can become a reasonable act. The development of rationality allows one to see events from a universal perspective and to free oneself from dependence on external objects that produce passions including adherence to life. The decision to voluntarily end one's life is based on an insight into the course of nature and what is natural to man. Thanks to this knowledge, suicide becomes a virtuous act and a manifestation of harmony with nature. For Augustine, on the other hand, suicide isan expression of human weakness, an inability to cope with the miseries of life and a cowardly escape from suffering. However, he considers suffering to be an integral part of life, hiding in itself the possibility of moral remedy. Suicide manifests human egoism, which is the cause of the original sin, the degradation of the human nature and an barrier on the road to happiness and salvation.

Women's Integration into the Physical Education Organization Sokol
Javůrková, Magdaléna ; Šenovský, Jakub (advisor) ; Beneš, Zdeněk (referee)
This thesis Women's Integration into the Physical Education Organization Sokol discusses the integration of women into organization Sokol, which was in the Czech lands first organization in which there was regular exercise. The aim is to give a clear historical perspective on the integration of women into Sokol. The thesis builds on the symbolic interpretation of the role of men and women based on the book by Pierre Bourdieu Domination of men in which Bourdieu argues that the inclusion of women in society is the result of a symbolic perception of the whole reality in which women have lower status than men. Further disclosed herein is the development of physical activities, games and ritualistic ceremonies. The development of the physical activity is related to the overall perception of physicality and culture itself, through which people became more interested in their body. The development of the physical education and formation Sokol had a great influence on the formation of the first women's gymnastic club of ladies and girls of Prague, which allowed women to enter the Sokol a chance to do the same physical activities as men. The illustration of subsequent history of Sokol is described on the example of the development in the locality Vinoř, based on interviews with one eyewitness once in a...

The Transcendental experience of Karl Rahner as a starting point of the reflexion of credibility of christianity
Šenovský, Jakub ; Bouma, David (advisor) ; Houkal, Jan (referee)
Title: The Transcendental Experience of Karl Rahner as a Starting Point of the Reflexion of Credibility of Christianity Abstract: In a broader scope, this master's thesis concerns with the question, how (or even whether) it is possible to show the credibility of the Christian faith in today's society, especially to those who are not believers. Specifically it is focused on the way, how Karl Rahner tried to solve this question. The starting point of his solution is the so called "transcendental experience" that is common to all people; furthermore, it is so basic that it would not be possible any thinking or action without it. Although it is so basic, it is also hidden for human, which constitutes the main problem with its clarification. In this thesis, I am focussing first on the solution of this matter in Hörer des Wortes and then in his late works: Gotteserfahrung heute, Gotteserfahrung und Selbsterfahrung a Grundkurs des Glaubens.
Georges Lemaître - mimořádná osobnost vědy 20. století
Rejman, Daniel ; Petráček, Tomáš (advisor) ; Šenovský, Jakub (referee)
Georges Lemaître is quite unknown in Czech society. Although he was one of the scientists who independently anticipated the expansion of the cosmos and later formulated one of the most important hypotheses of the twentieth century - the hypothesis of the Primavel Atom, generally known as the Big Bang Theory as well as he was the president of The Pontifical Academy of Sciences, there has been published almost nothing about him in the Czech Republic. What was Lemaître's life like? What does his hypothesis mean in the context of Christian astronomical discourse of last centuries? How was his mission of the priest linked with work in astrophysics and mathematics?
