Řehoř, Martin ; Ing.Jiří Navrátil (referee) ; Vlčková, Jitka Laura (advisor)
This diploma thesis contains the technological project of a pension located in Karlovice and is focused on construction as a whole, as well as on logistics of single work procedures and possible risks related to the construction itself.
FINANCING OF BROWNFIELDS IN SELECTED COUNTRIES
ŘEHOŘ, Matěj
The main purpose of this master thesis is to give a general overview on brownfields in European Union, to get familiarised with the problem of contaminated sites across Europe, to get to know the process of brownfield remediation, to show how brownfield sites are financed from the EU, to indicate a possible solution how to diminish the number of brownfields, to analyse the situation in different countries and to compare the number of contaminated sites from available data
Korteweg fluids - modeling, analysis and computer simulations
Blaškovičová, Monika ; Málek, Josef (advisor) ; Řehoř, Martin (referee)
We present two possible thermodynamical approaches towards a derivation of a model, proposed by Korteweg at the beginning of the 20th century, that is suitable to describe phase transitions liquid-vapor with non-sharp interfaces. The first approach (Dunn, Serrin (1985)) is based on classical rational continuum thermodynamics. The second approach (Heida, Málek (2010)) stems from the principles of classical nonequilibrium continuum thermodynamics. We compare both approaches in favor of the second one. The considered constitutive equation for the Cauchy stress is nonlinear. Nonlinearity and higher order derivatives of the density makes the analysis of relevant problems for the Navier-Stokes- Korteweg (NSK) fluid more difficult in comparison to problems concerning Navier-Stokes equations. Special attention is devoted to the appropriate choice of the boundary conditions. We also investigate the influence of compressibility on the stability of bubbles by comparing numerical simulations for compressible NSK fluid and its incompressible variant. Instabilities observed for a compressible NSK fluid are due to the pressure that has a different meaning for incompressible fluid. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
The validity of climbing specific tests to the climbling performance
Řehoř, Marek ; Baláš, Jiří (advisor) ; Strejcová, Barbora (referee)
Name The validity of specific tests of flexibility toward climbing performance Goal To attest the validity of specific tests of flexibility in climbing Method 202 subjects were measured, of this number 136 were men 176,8 cm ± 8,9 cm tall and weighing in at 68,9 kg ± 12,0 kg and 66 were women 168,2 cm ± 15,2 cm tall and weighing in at 62,8 kg ± 13,1 kg. Specific flexibility was measured through three tests: bent knee foot raise test, straight knee foot raise test and foot loading test. The degree of validity of tests has been expressed by the correlation between the climbing performance and the results of the specific flexibility tests. Results All the tests were showing medium dependence to the climbing performance with the correlating coefficient values being: bent knee foot raise test r=0,49, foot loading test r=0,49 straight knee foot raise test r=0,44. These correlating coefficients were calculated from the relative values of test results by averaging the left and right foot results and dividing the resulting number by the height of the subject. Summary Tests used are a suitable indicator of climbing specific flexibility. Keywords Validity, flexibility, sport climbing
Behaviour of new types of material models in a squeeze flow geometry
Řehoř, Martin ; Průša, Vít (advisor) ; Hron, Jaroslav (referee)
Investigation of material behaviour in a squeeze flow geometry provides an impor- tant technique in rheology and it is relevant also from the technological point of view (some types of dampers, compression moulding). To our best knowledge, the sque- eze flow has not been solved for fluids-like materials with pressure-dependent material moduli. In the main scope of the present thesis, an incompressible fluid whose visco- sity strongly depends on the pressure is studied in both the perfect-slip and the no-slip squeeze flow. It is shown that such a material model can provide interesting departures compared to the classical model for viscous (Navier-Stokes) fluid even on the level of analytical solutions, which are obtained using some physically relevant simplificati- ons. Numerical simulation of a free boundary problem for the no-slip squeeze flow is then developed in the thesis using body-fitted curvilinear coordinates and spectral collocation method. An interesting behaviour is expected especially in the corners of the computational domain where the stress singularities are normally located. Unfor- tunately, numerical results reveal some fundamental drawbacks related to the physical model and its possible improvement is discussed at the end of the thesis.
Transfer pricing
Řehoř, Marek ; Novotný, Petr (advisor) ; Vondráčková, Pavlína (referee)
Transfer pricing Abstract The thesis focuses on transfer pricing which falls within a scope of international taxation. The aim of the theses is to define transfer pricing, describe transfer pricing rules and to assess these rules. The first part of the theses focuses on international taxation, especially BEPS. Double tax treaties and ATAD directive are further described. The second part of the diploma theses focuses on transfer pricing from international perspective. Transfer prices are prices agreed between associated enterprises. The fundamental concept of transfer pricing is arm's length principle. The prices agreed between associated enterprises should equal to prices which would have been agreed between independent parties. The arm's length principle is included within the double tax treaties. The theses further focuses on OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises and Tax Administrations, especially comparability analysis and transfer pricing methods, which are used for setting up of transfer prices. The third part of the theses focuses on transfer pricing rules from the Czech perspective. The respective rules are included within the Income Taxes Act and legally non-binding guidance, which follow the international rules. The Czech Tax Authorities increase their attention on...
Diffuse interface models in theory of interacting continua
Řehoř, Martin ; Průša, Vít (advisor) ; Garcke, Harald (referee) ; Rohde, Christian (referee)
We study physical systems composed of at least two immiscible fluids occu- pying different regions of space, the so-called phases. Flows of such multi-phase fluids are frequently met in industrial applications which rises the need for their numerical simulations. In particular, the research conducted herein is motivated by the need to model the float glass forming process. The systems of interest are in the present contribution mathematically described in the framework of the so-called diffuse interface models. The thesis consists of two parts. In the modelling part, we first derive standard diffuse interface models and their generalized variants based on the concept of multi-component continuous medium and its careful thermodynamic analysis. We provide a critical assessment of assumptions that lead to different models for a given system. Our newly formulated class of generalized models of Cahn-Hilliard-Navier-Stokes-Fourier (CHNSF) type is applicable in a non-isothermal setting. Each model belonging to that class describes a mixture of separable, heat conducting Newtonian fluids that are either compressible or incompressible. The models capture capillary and thermal effects in thin interfacial regions where the fluids actually mix. In the computational part, we focus on the development of an efficient and robust...
French adjectives that change meaning according to the word order
ŘEHOŘ, Matěj
In this bachelor thesis, I would like to distinguish the meaning of french adjectives. Some french adjectives change the meaning in a sentence regarding where they stand. It might be in front of the noun or behind it. I would also like to compare french and czech adjectives in terms of a meaning in a sentence. The main goal of this bachelor thesis is to describe the difference of some adjectives´ meaning in french. The second part will consist of working with czech corpus and searching adjectives to compare their position in the sentence.
