Nursing care of the patient with stroke

Cílem mé práce je zpracování případové studie nemocné ve věku 78 let, která byla hospitalizována na I. interní klinice Fakultní nemocnice Královské Vinohrady s diagnózou ischemická cévní mozková příhoda s vertigem a lehkou levostrannou hemiparézou. V klinické části se věnuji anatomii mozkového cévního zásobení, fyziologii a patofyziologii a rozdělení cévních mozkových příhod. Dále jsou popsány rizikové faktory, diagnostika, terapie, prevence a prognóza cévních mozkových příhod. Ve třetí části jsou uvedeny základní údaje o nemocné získané z lékařské dokumentace. Jsou zde zaznamenány diagnózy a také diagnostická a terapeutická opatření. V úvodu ošetřovatelské části bakalářské práce je popsána metodika ošetřovatelského procesu a jeho jednotlivé fáze. Ošetřovatelská anamnéza vychází z modelu "Aktivity života" vytvořeným Virginií Hendersonovou a rozvíjeným Nancy Roperovou, Winifred Pohanovou a Alison Tiernerovou. Všechny informace byly získány pozorováním, rozhovorem s pacientkou a ze zdravotnické dokumentace. V další části jsou stanoveny aktuální a potenciální diagnózy a sestaven plán ošetřovatelské péče ke třetímu dni hospitalizace. Dále je popsána realizace a hodnocení účinnosti ošetřovatelských intervencí. Součástí práce je také průběh hospitalizace, edukace a prognóza nemocné.
Intimate relationships between healthcare workers in a particular healthcare services provider

This thesis is focused on the formation and presence of the intimate relationships between healthcare workers from nurses' point of view. The aim is to find out if those intimate relationships are developing on the nurses' workplaces and which factors can influence their origin as well as to find out if the presence of this relationship between a doctor and a nurse can affect the quality of collaboration among themselves but also with the other workers in the workplace. The theoretical part is dedicated to important socialization factors of the individual in society. It's focused on a position and function of the individual in a group, formal and informal relationships, family and it's function and types, on a married life and on risk factors of a family environment. The integral part is a description of the profession of a doctor and a nurse with their roles, team cooperation and professional relationship, but also a description of the doctor's and nurse's relationship like man's and woman's with potential intimate relationship. The empirical part is processed as a quantitative research. Data were obtained by non- standardized anonymous questionnaire and the research sample consisted of 177 respondents. The family member of patient within intensive care

The specialty of Intensive Care deals with acute conditions from all medical branches within the entire age spectrum of adults. This field has its own distinctive characteristics, which determine the character of not only medical personnel communication with families of hospitalized patients, but the overall quality of nurses' cooperation with relatives. In Czech professional literature in the area of intensive care there is minimum publications on this issue up to date. The task of the current thesis is to map a view of paramedical staff (nurses) on the process of communication and cooperation with family members of patients hospitalized in the intensive care units. The empirical part of the research is processed as a qualitative research by the method of semistructured interviews with nurses from the Intensive Care workplaces. As the result of this work we found inadequate professional readiness of nurses in the fields of communication strategy and approach to the families of patients hospitalized in the intensive care environment. The education of patient with cardiovascular diseases

Backgroud: This thesis deals education of patienton the departmen of cardiovascular surgery where I work. Type of the work is theoratical- empirical. The theoretical part deals overal educational proces, concept of education, signifikance in health care with other principles and forms of education and concepts concerning education. Other parts of the theoretical work is a description of cardiovascular diseases, risk factors and subsequent treatment. Methods: The empirical part is realized the quantitative research using questionnaires. The group of respondent sis between 18-60 years and over. The aim of my work was to determine in they know the concept of education and the extent to patients are educated in educational proces taking place in the department in which processes are most educated as understood, to find out hoiw the most common way informations are delivered and where they find the most common barriers. The last of the goals was to determine if patients have enough information about other options for their treatment. Meaning of work consists of mapping of ongoing education to identify shortfalls in certain educatinal processes and to identify proposals for improving the quality of education. Motivation of nurses in intensive care

AND KEY WORDS The thesis is focused on the motivation of nurses working in intensive care and presents theoretical and empirici part. The aim of the theoretical part is to define the concept of motivation from the perspective of psychology. Among other things, it includes motivation of employees to perform a quality work and last but not least, motivation and job satisfaction of nurses in health care. The work will also include examples of research on thist topic. Practical part inculdes quantitative research which is in form of questionnaire. This research is compared to other researches with focus on the motivational elements of nursing. In conclusion, the data are analyzed statisticaly and evaluated in the final discussion.
