Diploma thesis "Hannah Arendt's Understanding of Revolution in the Context of Fundamental Human Rights and Freedoms: The problem of a Reluctant Approach to the Solution of the Social Question and Political Participation", discusses the contrasting process and outcome of two revolutions, American and French, in the work On Revolution by Hannah Arendt. Different revolutionary processes unfolded based on specific socio-economic conditions and influences, such as emotions or necessity. In addition to examining different aspects of the given revolutions, we will also look into Arendt's criticism, which was primarily earned by the French Revolution and the social issue associated with it. In Arendt's understanding, it was not appropriate within the framework of the revolutionary goals that a social issue was added to the acquisition of freedom and fundamental human rights. Even though good social state of people is crucial for the revolutionary success, because when people are socially low, along with it comes state of necessity and a strong emotional response of people, which in the revolutionary context, as well as in the context of political participation, she tends to criticize a lot. This thesis discusses the concept of ressentiment and revenge as a form of ressentiment in Milan Kundera's novels published in the 1960s and early 1970s, The Joke, Life is Elsewhere and The Farewell Waltz. This thesis utilises the definition of ressentiment by Friedrich Nietzsche's The Genealogy of Morals. This thesis aims to discuss the characters of ressentiment in the light of this definition, consider revenge as a construct and the effects of the characters' revenge on them and other characters.

Comparative analysis of the attitudes of selected European parties on the topic of sexual minorities

This bachelor thesis focuses on the study of the approach of political parties in selected countries to the topics of sexual minorities. The work deals with the analysis of election programs, in which the researcher focused on points affecting sexual minorities. The thesis uses three theories of the theoretical framework within the theoretical concepts, which are the division of the political spectrum on the left and right by Norbert Bobbio, as well as the Theory of Cultural Revenge and the Theory of Postmaterialism. The following methodological chapter introduces the methods of data acquisition and the method of working with them. Furthermore, a comparative analysis is presented. The empirical part includes a brief description of the history of the development of conditions, rights and opportunities for sexual minorities in four selected countries. In the fourth, research chapter, there is a comparative analysis, comparing the approaches in the states and on the basis of their ideological boundaries, as well as the development of their approaches over time. Meaning and Understanding in the Context of Thought of Jacques Derrida and Hans-Georg Gadamer The focus of the present study is mainly on the discussion of the process of understanding and emergence of meaning. Using the example of Gadamer's hermeneutics it becomes clear what are the limits of positive attempt to express conditions of understanding within the context of the philosophy of finitude. In spite of its undeniable benefits, hermeneutic understanding shows itself to be vulnerable towards ideology and it could be seen as suspected of hidden normativity thanks to its emphasis on agreement and coherency. Derrida's deconstruction on the other hand shows the dynamics of emergence of meaning in language, it emphasizes plurality and ambiguity in contrast towards totalizing unicity and agreement; however, due to this approach, it is unable to offer anything close to what we call the truth. In a parallel line of interpretation, philosophical- antropological approach of Ernst Cassirer standing in comparison with Heidegger's existential analytics of Dasein shows that already at the fundamental level in the process of establishment of terms and concepts and earlier our understanding is already determined to a certain extent. Changes in tourism in Jeseniky region in wellness from 19th century

Jako téma své bakalářské práce jsem si vybral oblast blízkou mému oboru zájmu, a to lázeňství ve spojitosti s cestovním ruchem v historickém kontextu. Protože mám vztah k oblasti Jeseníků, rozhodl jsem se vybrat právě tento region. Celá oblast je tvořena třemi okresy, proto jsem vybral v každém okresu jednoho zástupce z oblasti poskytování lázeňské péče. Volba tak nakonec padla na Priessnitzovy léčebné lázně Jeseník, lázně Velké Losiny a Státní léčebné lázně Karlova studánka. Mým cílem bylo se zaměřit na zrněny struktury návštěvníků v proměnách doby. Vybral jsem proto dva roky z 19. století (1875, 1876 a u lázní Velké Losiny 1876 a 1877 kvůli chybějícímu roku 1875) a dva roky ze století 21. (2005, 2006). U těchto let jsem se pak pokusil nashrornáždit co největší množství společných ukazatelů a ty následně analyzovat. Uvádím také širší historický pohled ve snaze vysvětlit tak vývoj jednotlivých lázní. Vybrané roky jsem zvolil, jako co nejvíce neutrální (pro reprezentativnost za větší časový úsek) a také s ohledem na limitované množství a dostupnost historických materiálů.
