Entrepreneurial Project
Čechová, Jitka ; Novák, Zdeněk (referee) ; Rompotl, Jaroslav (advisor)
The aim of this diploma thesis is to develop a business plan in order to set up an educational centre with a range of courses, through which the market will be accommodated there where the school education system is not sufficient. The first part focuses on the theoretical knowledge and is followed by more detailed analysis of the current market situation. In a proposal part, there is a detailed entrepreneurial plan, according to which the plan feasibility can be considered.
Comparision of Czech Macroeconomic Performance with Selected Countries
Čechová, Jitka ; Nováková, Klára (referee) ; Breinek, Pavel (advisor)
The bachelor‘s thesis is focused on the analysis of the Czech Republic economic efficiency in comparison with selected countries. The goal of the thesis is the economic efficiency evaluation of the CR with help of its confrontation with Slovakia, Poland and Hungary. In order to make it, there are described basic macroeconomic indicators at first and then there is also made an analysis of the economic efficiency of all countries of the Visegrad Four since 1989. Then a general evaluation is made with formulation of recommendations for improvement.
Tvorba 3D modelů existujících budov
ČECHOVÁ, Jana
This thesis explores the different methods of creating 3D models of existing buildings using several different data sources, such as aerial photographs and technical drawings, and verifies the practical potential of these methods by creating a model of a selected building or building system from the University of South Bohemia campus. The thesis also focuses on available photogrammetric software used in data conversion for the purposes of creating 3D models. The result of this work is a 3D model of one of the University of South Bohemia's buildings that has been fine-tuned using editing software.
The Czech National Bank, its legal position and scope of activities
Čechová, Jana ; Bakeš, Milan (advisor) ; Kohajda, Michael (referee)
This thesis uses the available resources to analyze the current legal status of the Czech National Bank. Key parts of the thesis include chapters relate to monetary and economic policy and CNB trades as well as to the emission activity. The later chapter includes description of the legal tenders and its protective elements. The thesis also includes description of the legal aspects of the central bank's role and position with a particular emphasis on the recent accession of the Czech Republic to the European Union and contemplated introduction of Euro as the new Czech currency.
Work of a school special educational advisor in a school counseling centre
Čechová, Julie ; Kucharská, Anna (advisor) ; Presslerová, Pavla (referee)
This thesis concerns the profession of the school special educational advisorr working in a mainstream primary school and his acting in favor of pupils with learning difficulities. The theoretical part describes the group of pupils with whom the school special educational advisor works and possibilities of this work, the cooperation with other partners (teachers, professionals and institutions outside the school and pupils' parents ) in supporting those pupils and the three-stage model of care for pupils at risk in school development. The practical part in the form of qualitative research examines how school special educational advisors acting in primary schools in Prague see themselves in their profession. KEY WORDS: School special educational advisor, school counseling centre, three-stage model of care, special education needs, prevention, diagnostics, intervention
On the local principle of social enterprises up close
Čechová, Jitka ; Hudcová, Eliška (advisor) ; Košák Felcmanová, Alena (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to provide a view of fulfilment of the local principle in selected social enterprises using the qualitative method of multiple case studies. The local principle and its fulfilment are, along with the social, economic and environmental principles, a cri- terion to distinguish whether or not an examined subject is a social enterprise according to TESSEA. The local principle is characterized by preferential fulfilment of local needs and cooperation with local actors. The thesis describes specific forms of fulfilling the local principle in selected social enterprises within the context of their location. The inquiry about the local principles, their particular forms and obstacles preventing their fulfilment is carried out through examination of documents and mainly by means of semi-structured interviews. Keywords Social enterprise, principles of social enterprise, local principle, indicator
Genetická determinance dormance druhu Prunus armeniaca (L.)
Čechová, Jana
As achieving higher frost resistance is one of the apricot breeding goals in the Czech Republic, it is important to obtain a deeper understanding of the genetic background of the exit from endogenous dormancy for apricot flower buds. The reason is that frost resistance of flower buds is significantly reduced after exit from endogenous dormancy. The aim of this work was to contribute to the understanding of the process of exit of various plant tissues from dormancy, as the problem is very complex and containing a number of physiological processes that are controlled by the function and regulation of many various substances and corresponding genes. The time of exit of flower buds from endogenous dormancy was established by counting of flowering buds on sampled twigs after their transport to laboratory conditions. Furthermore, the production of ethylene, ethane, and CO2 was monitored for sampled twigs with flower and leaf buds. Other physiological parameters monitored during the course of this study were the level of abscisic acid in flower buds and their weigh during the sampling close to the period of exit from endogenous dormancy. An analysis of transcriptome using the cDNA-AFLP method was carried out on four apricot variants ('Sundrop', SEO, 'Vestra' a 'Betinka') to achieve a deeper understanding of the genetic background of exit of flower buds from endogenous dormancy. The transcription profiles obtained from this experiment were evaluated for changes in the expression profiles and fragments of genes with modified expression during the monitored period were sequenced identified. Obtained sequences were compared with sequences in electronic databases (NCBI and TIGR). The results of this comparison led to the identification of a number of the sequenced genes. The results of this study confirmed the suitability of use of the cDNA-AFLP method for the identification of gene candidates and getting a preliminary picture of the main molecular mechanisms taking place during the time of exit of flower buds from endogenous dormancy. The suitability of the used procedure was confirmed by the match between the genes identified from the sequencing and genes already described in the literature as being linked to the exit of plants from endogenous dormancy (e.g. gene coding for acquaporin, GTP-binding proteins, elongation factor 1 alpha, ubiquitin, and xyloglucan endotransglycosylase hydrolase). Measurements of concentration of selected substances during exit from endogenous dormancy do not allow definite conclusions about their influence on this process. On the other hand were identified several genes that might be candidates for markers identifying the output timing of endogenous dormancy of buds and provide a good starting point for further scientific research in this field.
The issue of sexual education of the pre-school child
ČECHOVÁ, Jana
The bachelor thesis "The issue of sexual education of the pre-school child" deals with the importance of sexual education in pre-primary education and shows the possible risks that may occur when this subject is neglected at this stage. The theoretical part deals with the evolution of human sexuality and the possible realization of sexual education in kindergarten. In the practical part, results of a quantitative research are interpreted. Kindergarten teachers were asked to fill in a questionnaire to find out the teachers´ opinion about sexual education and the way they carry it out in the kindergarten. It also includes a proposal of an educational project, which can be applied in the kindergarten.
