Title: Czechs and Slovaks in the first season of the second century of NHL Abstract The theme od the thesis are Czechs and Slovaks in the first season of the second century of NHL. The main aim of my work is to analyze the course of the season 2017-2018. In my work I will focus on the Czech and Slovak players and their comparison with players from the other European countries and with USA and Canada ice hockey superpowers. The comparison will be focused on the number of players, Canadian points, players' productivity in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft, their average age, and the players' age versus productivity. The work of ice hockey reporter in Czechoslovak print from 1967 to 1969

In my thesis I deal with the circumstances of procedure of an ice hockey reporter job in the years 1967 - 1969. I chose this topic because of my interest in work of sport commentators and 50 years anniversary of occupation and "ice hockey events" as well. In my thesis I try to connect and map both these topics. In my thesis I am concentrated on how these political facts influenced the job of ice hockey reporters mainly how they reported about matches against the Soviet Union. The thesis has two parts - a theoretical and a practical one. In the theoretical part there is a characterization of historical circumstances, gradual development of rivalry between teams from Czechoslovakia and the Soviet Union and profession of a journalist in that time. In the practical part I analyse ice hockey news in daily press such as Mladá fronta, Československý sport, Rudé právo a Stadión magazine where I research how they reported about matches from world championships and if it was changed because of political changes. The thesis is complemented by evidences of contemporary witnesses Mr. Jenšík, Mr. Hrubý and Mr. Turek who worked as journalists in that time and who described the procedure of everyday work in sport section. Analysis of speech of sports commentators

This bachelor thesis deals with an analysis of the speech of sports commentators. Specifically commentators of live ice hockey matches. The theoretical part includes a note on mass media as an inseparable part of live broadcasting of ice hockey matches, and on sports journalism. It also comprises a characteristic of national language and language devices. The practical part of the thesis is devoted to the analysis of spoken expression of sports commentators on a lexical level. Specifically it is focused on the occurrence of the selected language devices and their classification. The source for the practical part will be selected matches from hockey championships from four time periods (the 1960s, 1980s, 1990s and the present).

Title: The differences in skating performance by training of changes of directional speed and partial skating tasks in U12 ice hockey players Objectives: The main objective of the thesis is to compare the effectivity of training of ice skating while using exercises of changes of directional speed and training of partial skating tasks and its influence on speed-skilful test within players of senior school age (U12). At the same time, I am trying to compare which of methods regarding the development of ice skating's skill is more effective whether it is a method in whole (skilful exercises) or a method in parts (development of skating elements). Methods: Method of quantitative analysis of results of eight ice-skating tests performed on players of senior school age was utilized in the thesis. The tested sample was formed by thirteen players from sixth grade of the HC Slavia Praha team. The study includes three test measurements. First test measurement is the entry one, the second follows after the intervention from training of changes of directional speed and the third test measurement is performed after the intervention from partial skating tasks. The History of Physical Education and Sport in Příbram

This bachelor thesis is about the history and current situation of Physical education and sport in the city of Příbram. Primarily it is about the development of individual physical education associations during their activities from the beginning until now. In this thesis I deal with all important sport sections in Příbram. The development of sport is divided into sub-stages according to important facts of historical phases of our country. This work consists of four historical parts. The first part deals with the brief history of our city, the second one describes activities of the sport team Sokol and first sport teams from their foundation to the year 1945. The third part describes the period after the second world war to the year 1989, so called Velvet Revolution. This part is about beginning and continuing individual sport units, sports and organizations in Příbram. The fourth part focuses on the foundation and next progression of the most important sport teams between 1989 - 2018. The oldest facts are taken from preserved cronicles, archive materials of individual sport teams, literature and period articles. The information of the third and fourth parts also contain interesting dialogues with witnesses about the establishment of sport units and sectional sport events.
Creation and verification of compensation program for ice hockey players Peewee HC Motor České Budějovice

The aim of this work is to investigate possible muscle imbalances in ice hockey players HC Motor České Budějovice - older school age category at the age of 12-13. Then, it was necessary to develop a compensation program and apply it to the players' training process for 3 months. After completion of the compensation program, it was important to perform final testing and then evaluate muscle status and the effectiveness of the compensation program. The theoretical part is focused on the study and analysis of available literature in the field of ice hockey. Furthermore, the creation of muscle imbalances and problematic parts in ice hockey players is added. In the results, the compensation program is evaluated and presented using tables and graphs. Entrance testing showed incidence muscular dysbalances in all researched body areas, but the most was back of the thigh muscles, where 90 % of the players had muscle shortening. The occurrence of shortening of the straight head of the quadriceps femoris had all of player. The least incidence muscle dysbalance showed testing of trapezoid muscles (right side), 27 % of older school age category A abd 20 % in older school age category B.
Creation and verification of compensation program for ice hockey players atom HC Motor České Budějovice

The aim of this assignment is to examine the ice-hockey players from club HC Motor České Budějovice, category younger pupils, for possible muscle imbalance. Subsequently to work out a compensatory programme containing a battery of exercises and implement it into the players´ training programme for a period of 3 months. At the end of the compensatory programme there will be a final examination to compare the condition of the muscles and evaluate the efficiency of the compensatory programme. At the end of this assignment the results will be assessed using statistical methods and presented by charts and tables. Theoretical part of the thesis was made by the content analysis of literature research. The entrance examination showed us the occurrence of muscle imbalance in most of the examined parts. One hundred percent of younger pupils B have shortened this muscle on the right lower limb and 90.9% on the left lower limb. Lumbar lordosis was found in 94.1% of younger pupils A. Visible asymmetry of the shoulders was also found in 76,5 % of younger pupils A and 95,5 % of younger pupils B, which was caused by a one-sided hockey stick hold.
Specific and fitness testing of junior players at HC Motor Czech Budejovice

The aim of bachelor thesis is a testing focused on fitness capabilities of juniors of HC Motor České Budějovice leveraging technical literature which was structural and content analysis for theoretical part. In theoretical part I focused mainly on problematics within given industry and clarified the period of later adolescence. I also concentrated on history of ice hockey in Czech Republic as well as abroad and evolutionary rules of ice hockey and testing of training. A part of research deals with application of tested battery on every junior player within HC České Budějovice's team. All recorded values, on ice as well as besides, were compared with whole country testing. From given results I observed the correlation between dynamic and explosive power.
