Low-frequency Power Amplifiers

The aim of my bachelor thesis was to design a low-frequency amplifier with some specific parameters. The thesis includes several different connections of known and used amplifiers which are somehow unique or revolutionary. Also it contains the description of classes, the distortion and the structure of amplifiers. The low-frequency amplifier was designed with emphasis on resulting parameters. A design of a printed circuit and the prototype of the board were made. Then the resultant amplifier was modified and adjusted and finally its parameters were measured.

Bachelor thesis deals with design and creation of internet presentation for carpentery company of Mr. Lubomír Plock. Altohough this company has already had website , it does not meet expectations of good electronic propagation. Future website will be competely modernized regarding rules of creation of accesible website.
Telephone Intepreting in a Large Global Company

This diploma thesis is an empirical study outlying how telephone interpretation is used in a large global company. The theoretical section provides a comprehensive insight into telephone interpretation, covering its history and presence, describing various settings in which it is used and pointing out its specifics. It tackles issues of quality and reports on contentious approaches of various scholars and professionals. The practical section describes how the company Ariba uses telephone interpretation in order to facilitate communication with its customers. Analyzing 73 authentic telephone calls from this company, the author investigates English-French, English-German and English-Spanish telephone interpretation and verifies five hypotheses pertaining to it, namely the use of the 3rd person singular, audio quality, stability of connection, situational context and customer satisfaction.
Markup languages educational methodology

The aim of this thesis is to develop an educational methodology for the following languages: Markdown, HyperText Markup Language (HTML), eXtensible Markup Language (XML) and Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG); and to verify the methodology at Czech elementary schools on the lower secondary level. An integral part of the methodology is also an introduction to the history and development, as well as the theory of syntax of the mentioned markup languages, necessary for teaching according to this methodology. The methodology uses specific examples, on which the students can verify their newly acquired knowledge in practice. The verification of the methodology took place in the form of teaching at two Czech elementary schools. The teaching took place in the seventh grade within the compulsory elective subject of informatics, in the ninth grade within a compulsory subject. The expected differences in understanding the markup languages education in favor of the ninth year have not been confirmed. The motivation of the students proved to play much greater role than their age. This bachelor thesis is a commented translation of a selected French text. The thesis consists of two parts: the first one is a translation of 20 standardized pages, the second is a commentary of this translation. The original text is a brief description of the history of the Second World War. The commentary is divided into several parts which are: translation analysis of the original text (with emphasis on grammar, lexicology, syntax and stylistics), translation strategy, typology of translation methods and a chapter dealing with the specific problems of the translation. In the commentary, examples taken from the original and the translated texts are given.
