Cílem této bakalářské práce je podat komentovaný překlad vybraného textu z francouzštiny. Práce se skládá ze dvou částí: první je překlad v rozsahu dvaceti normostran, druhou komentář tohoto překladu. Výchozí text je stručným popisem dějin 2. světové války. Komentář tvoří překladatelská analýza originálu (s důrazem na jednotlivé strukturní roviny - gramatickou, lexikální, syntaktickou a stylistickou), metoda překladu, typologie překladatelských postupů a kapitola věnovaná překladatelským problémům. V komentáři jsou uváděny příklady z originálu a překladu. This bachelor thesis is a commented translation of a selected French text. The thesis consists of two parts: the first one is a translation of 20 standardized pages, the second is a commentary of this translation. The original text is a brief description of the history of the Second World War. The commentary is divided into several parts which are: translation analysis of the original text (with emphasis on grammar, lexicology, syntax and stylistics), translation strategy, typology of translation methods and a chapter dealing with the specific problems of the translation. In the commentary, examples taken from the original and the translated texts are given.
