Educational programs of low-threshold facilities: A case study of the Proxima Sociale organization

The theme of the diploma thesis is Educational programs of low-threshold facilities: A case study of the organization Proxima Sociale. The aim of this theoretical-empirical thesis is to find out what educational programs the low-threshold facilities of the Proxima Sociale organization offer and how they work in practice. In the first chapter, the theoretical part is devoted to the educational process in the context of social pedagogy. The next chapter is dedicated to social pedagogy as a field, its definition, its placement in the context of other sciences and the role of the social pedagogue in practice. The third chapter is devoted to social work, its definition, and then to low-threshold facilities, namely low-threshold facilities for children and youth and outreach services, their history, possible methods of working with clients and, last but not least, also the visions and challenges that low-threshold facilities in cooperation together with the Czech Streetwork Association set a date until 2030. The conclusion of the theoretical part is devoted to social prevention in the context of risky behavior among children and youth. The most common stressors and their influence on tertiary education students

(in English): The main aim of this thesis is to find the most common stressors among students of undergraduate programmes, i.e. which study obligations, personal matters or circumstances in the world are the most stressful for them during their studies. The thesis also tries to determine the effect this stress has on their academic results and what preventive measures and ways of coping with stress the selected respondents use. As the thesis targets university students, it also includes a specification of tertiary education in the Czech Republic. The thesis is divided into two parts; the theoretical part primarily provides a definition of the term stress and a description of its possible causes and sources, whether these are external or internal stressors. It also describes the most common manifestations of the stress response and a list of stress prevention options and coping strategies. Last but not least, the theoretical part contains a description of tertiary education and a list of possible stressors that can affect students of undergraduate programmes. Risky behaviour of lower-secondary school pupils on social media

The main topic of the thesis is Risky behaviour of lower-secondary school pupils on social media. The main aim of the thesis is to find out whether pupils show signs of risky behaviour in this environment. The thesis is divided into theoretical and empirical parts. The theoretical part in the first chapter focuses on the characteristics of risk behaviour in real life and adolescence in general. The second chapter focuses on cyberspace as a specific type of environment in which risk phenomena take place. In the third chapter, the different forms of risk behaviour that take place in the online environment are already specifically mentioned. The aim of the empirical part is to find out whether students engage in risky behaviours in cyberspace and whether they have their own experience with dangerous phenomena in the environment. The data collection was conducted quantitatively. A deliberate selection of schools was chosen, to which an electronic questionnaire was sent. The Effects of Stressors on Grammar School Students during Graduation Exam

The bachelor's thesis deals with the effects of stress and stressors on grammar school students in relation to the graduation exam. The focus is also on coping strategies, that are being used by students for the sake of stress management. In the theoratical part, key findings, approaches and specifics of the concerned fields are being introduced, on which basis the reasearch is carried out. The research's subject is a description of the perception of stress, stressors and coping strategies from the point of view of former grammar school students. The data collection method is a questionnaire. The findings of the research are being presented in the empirical part of the thesis, where they are being further discussed. Benefits and risks of opening of the profession of a teacher in primary schools to people without pedagogical education

The aim of this diploma thesis is to analyse the issue of teaching as a profession in the conditions of current changes in education and to describe the current situation in the field of personnel provision of education in several elementary schools. The thesis presents the general characteristics of teaching, teaching as a profession, the choice of a teaching profession and teacher education. Part of the thesis is devoted to the educational policy of the Czech Republic after 1989 and the current situation in education. In the practical part, the motives of teachers without pedagogical qualifications for choosing the teaching profession are described and the benefits and problems in their teaching practice are analysed from the point of view of these teachers and from the point of view of school principals.
Nonverbal communication in school enviroment

In the first chapter, Introduction to Nonverbal Communication, is described the meaning and use of nonverbal communication. The basic concepts discussed are associated with nonverbal communication. The importance of correctly understanding other people's signals is outlined. It is explained what influences our actions. In the second chapter, Body Language Distribution, is discussed the taxonomy of body movements and signing, with illustrative examples is described the meanings of gestures used in the pedagogical process. The insight into the meaning of our body language is deepened. The most common mistakes and outdated dogmas are pointed out. In the third chapter, Defining Roles, is discussed the behaviour of both teacher and pupils, as well as the influences that contribute to the formation of their relationship. It is elaborated on what are the different actors in communicating in the school environment influenced by and described the role of the teacher in the lives of the pupils. In the practical part, are retrospectively recorded classroom observations of adolescent students responding to teachers, acting in stressful situations. Teacher's authority from secondary school students' point of view

The aim of the bachelor thesis "Teacher's Authority from Secondary School Students' Point of View" is to find out how secondary school pupils understand the authority of the teacher, what characteristics of the teacher, according to the pupils, strengthen the authority of the teacher and what weaken it. The bachelor thesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The aim of the theoretical part is to summarize the existing knowledge about the authority of the teacher. The theoretical part is based on the study of scholarly literature. In the introduction, it discusses the definition of the concept and the typology of authority. It also contains the typology of the teacher in terms of his personality, deals with the educational and teaching styles of the teacher. The subject of the last chapter of the theoretical part is the relationship between teacher and student, preferential attitudes of teachers to students. Heterogeneous and homogeneous classes in kindergartens

The master's thesis deals with the topic of heterogeneous and homogeneous class arrangement in kindergartens. The theoretical part of the work introduces the theoretical background concerning the concepts of heterogeneity and homogeneity in classes and describes the specifics of organising children according to age in kindergartens. The paper continues with the development of kindergartens in history and the system of curricular documents, which are the basic pillars of education. The practical part focuses on quantitative research. Data was collected through questionnaires designed for kindergarten teachers. Opinions on which of the variants of age arrangement of children in the classroom is preferred by teachers are processed in graphs. Furthermore, which of the variants of the age arrangement of children in the classrooms, kindergarten teachers tend to lean towards and what the greatest risks and benefits of these groups they indicate and how teachers' views on the age structure of classes in relation to their age are related.
Student teachers group learning activities

The dissertation thesis focuses on the topic of employing group teaching activities in the university education of teachers. The goal of the thesis is to provide complex understanding of group teaching activities as a teaching strategy useful for teacher's education, and to describe and analyze their current deployment in selected courses, specifically in specialization courses in respective fields of study and in pedagogy course. The research uses two main approaches. Case study was conducted to analyze, how group teaching activities are implemented in specialization courses at the Faculty of pedagogy of the Charles University in Prague. Action research was used in my own teaching of pedagogy course at the Theatre faculty of the Academy of performing arts in Prague. Results of both empirical inquiries point to the high significance of group teaching activities for the education of future teachers. They describe in detail factors influencing their employment, analyze their actual use in teaching and reflect on perspectives of all actors of the teaching process, both students and teachers, on group teaching activities.
