Production Line Process Optimizing
Vu Truong Quang, Duy ; Drobik,, Martin (referee) ; Videcká, Zdeňka (advisor)
In this bachelor thesis I deal with analysis and optimization of production line processes in the company Otis a.s., which deals with production of elevators and escalators. The thesis contains a detailed analysis of the current state, where the processes are described, when an anticoincident product is detected. Based on the outcomes of detailed analysis and bottleneck detection, a solution will be recommended to reduce the incidence of anticoincident products.

To achieve the objectives, the study released a practical survey towards eSports fans on social media platforms, and by applying statistical test: Chi-squared test of independence and analyzing the responded data, the answers are drawn. It is expected that through the study, company see the po- tential of eSports in the context of enhancing its employer branding strategy both internally and externally.
Synthesis of novel 5,6-disubstituted derivatives of uracil as potential drugs
Vu, Lien Phuong ; Kučerová, Marta (advisor) ; Zimčík, Petr (referee)
Charles University Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Analysis Candidate: Vu Lien Phuong Supervisors: PharmDr. Marta Kučerová, Ph.D. Tanja Bruun, M.Sc. (Pharm.) Prof. Jari Yli-Kauhaluoma Title of diploma thesis: Synthesis of novel 5,6-disubstituted derivatives of uracil as potential drugs In this thesis, uracil was used as the core structure given its many biological activities that were reported such as antitumor, antiviral, antibiotic, hypoglycemic, diuretic and many others. The work was focused on the preparation of new 5,6- disubstituted uracil derivatives as potential biologically active agents. 2,4,6-Trichloropyrimidine was used for the preparation of 6-chlorouracil that was condensed with phenols or anilines to give the respective 6-phenoxyuracils and 6- phenylaminouracils. These intermediates were then modified in position 5 to give the final products. For this very challenging last step, various alkylating and acylating agents were used, e.g. Vilsmeier reagent, alkylchlorides, chloroacetyl chloride, ethyl chlorooxoacetate and ethyl bromoacetate. In the end, ethyl bromoacetate gave the most promising results affording four novel 5,6-disubstituted uracil derivatives. During the experimental work it was found that pH of water used...
Algorithms for timetabling in sports
Koštejn, Vít ; Sgall, Jiří (advisor) ; Vu, Tung Anh (referee)
This bachelor thesis studies the timetabling problem of the creation of startlists for orienteering events. We focus both on theoretical and practical results. In the theo- retical part, the problem is translated to the scheduling terminology and then analyzed together with its special cases. We are mostly interested in the approximation algorithms and their ratios. In the practical part, we study multiple methods based on the pre- viously analyzed approximation algorithms and constraint programming for generating such startlists. Subsequently, these methods are tested on real data from previous events and compared with the startlists made by humans. 1
